I play against an eldar army that's heavy on tanks and wraithlords. I have come close to winning but can't find the config that puts me over the top! Here's the latest version. Any advice?
Also, several questions: can bikes take hit and run? What units can?
Librarian against eldar? the psychic hood is defense against his guide but it seems expensive.
Thanks! U R great!

Yup, I see some things that could be changed for effectiveness.Originally Posted by RoosterJDNo, nothing in the SM list has access to hit and run.Originally Posted by RoosterJDtotally worth it. guide + starcannons are deadly. finding a proper config is very important though. Well take a look at it.Originally Posted by RoosterJDBolt Pistol is a must have. Thats an extra attack. This is the next thing to drop for points.Originally Posted by RoosterJDPerfectly fine.Originally Posted by RoosterJDThere is no reason to have a CCW sergeant here. give him a sniper rifle.Originally Posted by RoosterJDDrop the mastercraft on the powerfist. Its not worth the points for a single re-roll in combat each turn.Originally Posted by RoosterJDPerfect.Originally Posted by RoosterJDSplit this up into 2 units. They have different weapons with different ranges. Secondly, it will keep them from both dying to a single barrage. I personally dont like the typhoon ML unless it is in groups of 3. I would switch it for another AC + HB.Originally Posted by RoosterJDThis is all perfect.Originally Posted by RoosterJD
I cant really see why your having a problem. Especially if your oponent is vehicle heavy. Try adding a librarien to counter guide. That ability is quite devastating and may be the only reason your loosing battles. Take it as a second HQ. Remove the things I mentioned and chenger your MoS to a reclusiarch. Change his bike to a jump pack. Go with a codicier librarien on a bike. Add him to the bike squad. Basic eq, although switch his storm of the emporers wrath for something a little more handy. Veil of time, might of heroes, FotD or FotA would all work well for him. The hood has no range on it so you need not worry about that. You loose the re-rolls on the bike squad but gain a power that can be more effective if need be. Also, the assualt squad will be more effective. I would consider removing the flamers on the assault squad in exchange for plasma pistols. If his list is vehicle heavy the plasma pistols will help. Secondly, between 2 flamers and an assault, you will generally be left in the open on your opoenents turn. You want to be locked in combat on your oponents turn so you cant be shot. 2 flamers + all those re-rollable close combat attacks is to much. depending on squad size though you may wish to keep a single flamer. Just keep in mind that optimally it should take your combat and phase and his for you to whipe out his squad. This way you are protected from his shooting and are free by your next movement phase.

Efficiency VS Point Cost VS Ease Of Use - Your best bets:
1) Chaplain led Assault squad - 2 plasma pistols, powerfisted sergeant
2) 8 man Devastator squad - 4 missile launchers
3) Land Speeder Tornado - HB + AC
