    [1850] mechanized marines

    Hi all, had to have another go at this mechanized marines stuff.

    Chapter master w/power fist + pistol+ combat shield

    I got an army thats sorta like this. It works alright. But you should try to rework it so one of those groups is a vet squad with all term honours with pistol and ccw and furious charge. Four attacks on a charge is great. Expecally charging out of the front of a crusader!!!

    here you go

    vet squad (furious) 10 @ 340pt
    7 bolt pistol, ccw, term honours
    1 bolt pistol powerfist, term honours
    1 bolt pistol, power weapon, term honours
    1 bolt pistol, power weapon, melta bomb, term honours

    i don't know killjoy your squad is damn expensive. too expensive if you ask me.

    Why don't you take traits to get a second special weapon in each squad, they would pack quite a punch this way.

    Also some flamers on the assault squads can make them a bug purge squad!

    I wouldn't recomend a power fist on a caracter, since he goes last by inititative order, this means 2 things:
    as your opponent, I will remove the 1 model the squad he is with in base to base to deny him all is attacks.
    Second, units will get to swing at him first, and he can be armed quite easely with only a 3/5+ save to back him up. Cheap granted, but fragile.

    Yea they are expencive but 32 regular, 8 power weapon, and 4 powerfist with melta bombs as a kicker will eat almost any unit including termis.

    Give your command squad furious charge, they'll wreck havoc in any unit they hit.
