    [2000] newb's army

    ok so this is what iwas thinking for my army.

    [HQ]Grey Knight Grand master
    -5 Terminators
    - 1 w/ insinerators
    - 1 w/ psycannons

    [Elite]7 Grey Knight Terminators
    - 1 Brother-Captain
    - 1 w/ incinerator
    - 1 w/ psycannon

    - 1 Demonhost

    [Fast Attack] 2 Grey Knight Units
    - Unit 1
    - 1 Justicar
    - 4 Grey Knights
    - Unit 2
    - Same as Unit 1

    [Troops] 2 Units of IST

    [Heavy] 2 Dreadnaughts
    - 1 w/ TLLC and CCW
    - 1 w/ Twin-Linked Auto Cannon

    so what do u guys think. It did really well in the game i played it in but i need to tweak it.

    That's a LOT of terminators. If you want to go for an all terminator army, I suggest Deathwing

    The HQ is fine, except that I'd match the special weapons (I'd go for 2 psycannons since terminators always count as stable, but it's up to you. Also, make sure you give the grandmaster the psycannon if you only take one.)

    Just lose the elite terminator unit completely. Spend the points from there to max out your fast attack squads.

    Finally, a lot of people give their stormtroopers special weapons and transports, for good reason. Common set ups are 2 plasma guns (anti marine/transport) and 2 melta guns (anti tank).
    You should also consider upgrading at least one man to a veteran sargeant and giving him a teleport homer, to safely call down your GK with.
    Finally, transports don't hurt. If you want to go tank hunting the mobility of a rhino is almost required. If you just plan to use the special weapons as anti troop, then consider giving one unit a chimera. A Chimera with a heavy bolter and multi laser, transporting stormtroopers armed with grenade launchers, will make a great unit for taking out medium infantry.

    As for your heavy support, extra armor and smoke launchers never hurt anyone.
    And the autocannon dread seems strange.....I'd change it to an assaultcannon/incinerator dread.

    IF you have any spare points getting an inquisitor and an assassin is always fun

    The first company of the Dark Angels space marine chapter. They get terminators as troops, elites, fast attack, and heavy support. The only other models they may take are land raiders and dreadnaughts.
