    [1000] Blood Angels Friendly

    This is basically all my pieces rolled into one army. So far it's taken on and beat a sizeable DE army, and an Iron Warriors force

    personnaly I dont like special character, a dependancy on them will let you down if you play in tourneys, however, fair ennough, but you dont need to bother listing all his wargear as it is mandatory and you cant add more. Can you even take mephiston in 1000 points list?

    I prefer my chaplains with jump packs, walking accross the battlefied is bad for death compay health

    not keen at all, firstly dark rage will stop you firing the heavy bolters occasionally, secondly death company will take a big chunk out of one squad or other, you are way too few troops, I would also take vet sgts to feed to DC

    First of all this a beginner army list so lay off with the "Pro" talk. I play for fun not for domination of the planet. I forgot to add in that the Chappie has Jump Packs. As far as numbers go, I like the Assault squad with 4 guys and a seargent becuase anymore and it becomes a point sink. Only the "Furioso" gets furious charge for free not a normal BA dread. Seargents in Tact sqauds cost to much plus I don't have enough models for them. The Heavy bolter took out 11 DE combat soldiers the last game I played and you rarley ever roll 1 on a black rage test so its not really a problem. I really don't like sitting around and shooing anyways, that why my Dread has the cc arm and isnt really heavy suppourt. So far this assault first, ask questions later has proved very effective at overwhelming my opponents. Thanks for taking time to advize though.

    *note/Question: All Blood Angels have Furious Charge, if you put it on you're dreadnought, wouldn't it be like +2 S and +2 I??
    I would drop the ability, cause you are paying for it, its just not worth it, even if the Furious Charge doesn't count on you're dread normaly, why would you want the +1S and +1I, the dread is already string enough, and the only thing able to hit the Dreadnought would be a Powerfist, and you're dreadnought shouldn't be charging into Powerfist wielding squads either.

    i like this guy but he dosnt have a jump pack so he is very slow and cost to many points for use in a 1000pt game. so you should drop this guy

    this gut should have a jump pack but he is good in every other way except maybe give him termie honors you dont have to but thats just what i do.

    these are a bit to small and should have a vert sarge for your dc. beef then up a bit and add in anoter squad with the points you wold get if you drop Mephiston. or maybe get some scouts there always good to support your dc and assult squad.

    this is a good squad jusrt beef them up a bit and change then to normal assault marines then you save 6 points a model and can add in a few more (i think its 6 points different betweeen vertrens and normal assualt marines but i dont have my codex close)

    not to bad a good fire support squad and yeah you should keep the close combat arm if you want.

    He isnt paying for Furious Charge.Blood Angels get it for free,it is apart of the armies special rules.And dreadnoughts are weapon skill 4 so basically everything can hit it,but just not wound it.
    And as for the list.What do you want us to do then if you want us to lay off the 'pro' talk.I mean we are just trying to help you and make your list better(and it sure does need a hell of alot of work)and we cant do that without giving you advice.

    Off list, I meant that Powerfist are the only thing able to do damage so => hit the dreadnought. (yeah, Thunder Hammers 2, jeez)

    You guys do know that if a Veteran Sergeant joins the Death Company he loses all of his equipment right?

    Anyway, I do agree that the Tactical Squads are too small. Troop choices may be a tad boring but they're the backbone of your army so beef those squads up a bit. Terminator Honours for the Chaplain won't hurt either.

    Yes he does but he also gets a free jump pack if you wish and a power fist or power weapon.

    Cheers Tycho. So the question is, do you give him a power weapon/fist to begin with or not?

    If you give him a power weapon and he joins the DC then the points are wasted. But if you don't give him the power weapon and he isn't inducted then you've got a Veteran Sergeant with basic weapons in your Tactical Squad so you've kind of wasted the points in upgrading him. What do you others think?
