    Space wolves 1500

    ive put alot of thought into this list.. so be gentle :p .. any feed back would be appreciated tho~

    im pretty unsure about the wolf lord + wolves it was added in more just to fill the last few points..

    the general idea is move forward using cover, taking out what i can then finish it up in close combat~~ so here it is~



    6 Grey Hunters

    That are a lot of small plasma GH units. I like the look of it.

    Give the Ven-Dread extra armour and smoke launchers. That will keep him alive longer.

    And as you're clearly not a clear fan of the Wolf Lord with the Wolves I suggest you drop it. I don't like a biker on it's own. And characters don't need the Necklace, they hit most units on 3s anyway.
    Instead I suggest you get a Wolf Priest with Healing Balms. Have him join the Blood Claws (dropping one of them to make room). With the points you've got left you can buy a Land Speeder. Which is always useful, in any army.

    get some power fists in your units, you might not like to get in CC with a dreadnought, or a wraithlord. They also do very well to instant kill caracters sent your way.

    yeah.. id have to agree wolf_pack

    maybe remove 2 fenris wolves the plasma pistols and the talismen.. i could have a power fist in each GH pack?

    That'd be good. Still I underline the need of extra armour and smoke launchers for the Ven-Dread. And my arguments against the Wolf Lord and pro the Wolf Priest still stand.

    why give the dread smoke.. he'll be shooting whenever possible

    if i did remove the lord and put a preist/balms in with the blood claws +smoke/armour on the dread, what would i do with the left over 66 points

    a single land speeder wont do very much.. a wolf lord and wolves.. could potentially take out an emeny tactical squad.. maybe heh well thats what i was hoping :>

    Give that landspeeder a multi melta and send it tank hunting. The number of times my landspeeders have survived intact from the enemies shooting (we're talking the majority of thier army here) is astounding, they are worth more than their weight in points

    Never underestimate landspeeders, i know my opponents do and they suffer for it

    Give the Dread smoke because it'll keep him alive longer. Also, I hadn't heard of any such rule that if you activate your Smoke Launchers you cannot shoot in the same turn. :hmm:
