    [400] Sisters of Battle (Combat Patrol)

    School Combat Patrol tournament is imminent and the beginning of my Sisters army is too. I got help with a list from onlainari, so thanks to him.

    The Flamer Sister squad will move forward to engage close combat troops at Rapid Fire range, and the Sister Superior is packing a Power Weapon in case. The Melta squad will support the close combat squad a little further back, and I can throw them into melee if I need. The last Sister squad simply provides fire support for the other two squads. Survivability-wise, I doubt many opponents will be able to kill my Sisters, there are 30 of them after all, all packing 3+ saves. ^_^

    So, how's this? Any comments and suggestions are welcome.

    I know I shouldn't but..........sitters or battle? Are you trying to imply they aren't very mobile? :p

    On the Veteran Sister Superior Issue, I know it's a points nuisanse but would you consider giving them Eviscerators instead? The hidden Eviscerator would be be much more useful against T4 foes, rather that the power weapon being hamstrung by S3.

    Bah! BAH! *uses Mod powers* >_> <_< That didn't happen.

    Hmm, I'm not too fussed about Eviscerators - if I need the extra strength I can use Hand of the Emperor for a nice bonus.

    Wow, so simple...I can't really critisize or offer support...its just so simple! BAH!

    My SoB Combat Patrol is 2 Rhino squads and an Immy...

    Much more mobile.

    But to each his own!

    Not too bad but I agree with Mike, it needs some kind of movement or armour.

    An interesting WH 400pt list I compiled (which I foolishly let me wife use and now she has claimed it and stands at 4-1 up versus just about anything I've thrown at her) could really hurt this army (possibly yours too Mike).
    It's an Elite Quis with PP plus retinue (3x Warriors with PG's, 1x Acolyte's with PP) and a Chimera Transport with turret Multi-laser, Hull HB and smoke.
    1x unit of 5x IST's with 2x PG's.
    2x units of 10x Zealots with 2x PG's in each unit.
    31x models with 9x Plasma Guns, 2x Plasma Pistols, 3x Hell Guns, 18x Las Pistols, Multi-Laser and Heavy Bolter at 400pts.
    It has anti-armour (at least versus anything you'll get in 40k in 40mins), drops power armour plus isnt too shabby at HTH... but is just as likely to internaly combust from over-heating.

    INTERNAL COMBUST!

    Just give I 'Sacrifice' unit and let them shoot till they all die, then charge out!

    Or just have lots of Heavy Bolters.

    For Combat Patrol I use a Close Combat Orinetated army-

    Battle Sister Squad(min)-110

    Inquisitor- Master Crafted PW, bolt pistol, Rosarius
    3x Crusader
    2x Chirgueon
    1x Veteran Guardsmen with meltagun
    (175 Pts)

    retributor squad- 5 men with 2 Multimeltas-105 Pts

    It's good fun to play with, and does well against almost all armies.
