As the starting nucleus of an Armored Company list this isn't bad. However I have to say before I get into a serious review of the list, if you brought this to the table for an actual 750-point game, I'd probably insert one or more of your tanks into an orifice you wouldn't appreciate sans lubricant. Thats because more lists have significant difficulty with armor at low point values, so bringing an armored company in that format would make me cry. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, lets look at the list.
The Command Tank--A compulsory unit, I see you've made good use of its BS of 4 by assigning an Exterminator to him. Excellent choice. I know some people use the BS 4 by giving a Vanquisher to their commander, but its just a bad idea, putting all your eggs in one basket. Your opponent will already likely want to kill your commander, so putting your biggest anti-tank weapon in the same vehicle as your HQ is just bad. I give the Vanquisher to an Ace, and the Exterminator to the Commander as you did here. One change I'd make is to lose the hull lascannon and replace it with a heavy bolter. The only focus for this tank is to rain down AP 4 hell upon opposing infantry. So why bring an anti-tank weapon to the deal? Yes I know you could use it against enemy armor but you'll be alright without, and you save ten points. Extra armor and smoke are both good and don't cost too much, so the lascannon-->heavy bolter is the only alteration I'd make. Points saved: 10
The Lemans--I'd kit them both out with hull heavy bolters and sponson bolters. That way if their battle cannnons go kaput, you've got poor-man's exterminators. These tanks are really designed for anti-infantry duties anyway, so I see no reason to ever give a standard Russ a hull lascannon (except for the fact that GW in its "infinite wisdom" saw fit to include it as the only option in their Russ kits. Lazy bastards). Once again smoke and extra armor is good, so no other changes. Points saved: 10 more (20 total)
The Chimera--Its not bad at a low point total, serving as essentially a light tank. If you know you're only going against infantry and maybe some very light armor I'd use my extra points here to upgrade to a Hellhound, counting on my battle cannons to blow apart anything with an armor value of 12 without much trouble. If you know you're going up against multiple vehicles or anything with armor better than 12, I'd stick with the Chimera with the change I'm gonna suggest for the Griffon. Use some of those spare points above to stick on a heavy stubber to give the Chimera even more anti-infantry firepower.
The Griffon--Considering you already have 3 main battle tanks and 2 ordance blasts, I don't think the Griffon's relatively modest heavy mortar will contribute much to the list. You already have an over-abundance of anti-infantry power. Instead what I'd use these points for (and any you might have left over from above) is to get a small Storm Trooper squad with two special weapons. If you're going against infantry for a small game, 2 plasma guns to give yourself some AP 2 weaponry. If you're making this force into a larger list or going against armor, use 2 meltaguns. You've already got plenty of heavy bolters, a multilaser, and a twin-linked BS 4 autocannon. Infantry will die in droves. You need something to punish the tougher guys or anything with a decent armor value. Put your Stormies in the Chimera above (as an Elites choice rather than Fast Attack, obviously), and drive them up to whatever your Lemans can't handle and unleash hell.
Overall not bad. It can form a nice core to an Armored Company you can expand later, as well as also provide Heavy Support for a more conventional Guard force. But if you challenged me to a 750 point game and brought the above as I already stated, I'd physically abuse you. Nice job though.
This has to be quick, as i'm not on for long, I'll say more later, but this isn't a starting nucleus, this is going to be the whole army, i just think armoured companies are cool, but not cool enough to shell out the vast sums of money they cost, which my paper round doesn't quite cover. And i'm not taking vanquishers because they're forge world. And i love exterminators anyway, I'm a born Space Wolf player.
EDIT:ok, now i have more time, thanks for all the great advice. I do need some serious anti-tank power, this list is going to be regularly going against railheads, land raiders, and all kind of butt-whipping stuff. With the points saved from ditching the griffon, i was thinking about giving one Leman anti-tank rounds, and giving my command tank (who now needs at least 20 points of traits) ace gunners. I know it's serious shooting accuracy overkill, but with my luck at rolling he'll still only down a single tau a turn. and should i put a heavy stubber on my chimera, give it more of a chance of making squads run? I don't expect people to shoot it much, they have bigger fish to fry. erm.... what else was there? oh yeah, I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but everyone knows you put extra armour and smokes on almost every tank, keeps the blighters in the battle past the first turn, dunt it? and one more thing: my necron playing mate wouldn't phusically abuse me if i played this list, nor would most experienced nec players. every single nec weapon can down a tank, you know? that's nasty.
