I know Im missing something... Dont got my army list here so I cant check it. Im not sure if I got the points right either, feel free to correct them if you would find something I have missed.
This force objective is basically to make an "hammer-blow" where I feel the enemy are weakest. The Retributors give good fire support and Seraphims are good enough to take on most enemy infantry.
The Immolator is one of my favourite tanks and if used correctly with smoke launchers and the advantage of terrain, then it can deliver quite a punch.
The Priest is joined to the squad with the Heavy Flamer and my Canoness usually runs with them to, but I might run her next to them so that unit becomes over-exspensive (it already is, I know).
With this list I have beaten several foes (must notable a Emperors Children army that didnt manage to take a single victory point from me) and the fact it lacks real anti-tank power doesnt botter me. I have beaten a fast Eldar host with it so I feel confident in its skills.
Get 4 more Seraphims. They work the best in squads of ten. Line them up with 2 flamers on each end. Lay down some flamer fire before going in and boltering/CCing them.
Get more sisters and an imagifer for each squad. The priest you probably dont need. Id say get an inquisitor and retinue.
Know I know what I forgot. My second SoB squad have frag grenades and those Retributors are 2 points more exspensive.
Why should I get 4 more seraphims? I have 7 now
I usually field them in a squad of 8 and that works really well. The Priest is a necessary choice with that Re-roll misses in charge and he gives my "CC" SoB squad better punching power. I dont get why I should have an inquisitor, they are good for one thing - bringing in assassians and they are to exspensive for a 1000p list.
