I'm getting confused...
I've reworked my list som many times that I don't know what to do.
This is why I decided to give you guys a shot at making the list for me! Good huh?
This what models I have at my disposal:
Term Rune Priest w LC or Runesword+Storm Bolter
Power armour Rune Priest
WG-leader on bike w axe
WG-leader w LC
Lots of wolves
5 termies (the usual box set)
various scouts approx 10 of them
~20 cc marines (6 w PF)
~15 Bolter marines
Pred (lascann + H Bolter sponsons)
Longfangs w 2 missile 2 HB
What to do?
Dont have the codex in front of me, but..
1250= 2 HQs - I would strongly recomend getting a ven dread as my first choice for Hqs would be (in 1250) that and a WGBL, Second choice would be WGBL and probably a wolf priest, but given your current models WGBL and rune priest.
go for frost blades, wolf tooth knecklaces.
Stay away from terminator armour in 1250 - too expensive
take your long fang squad and have spent nearly half your points
fill the rest with BC and GH squads, 6-8 in GH squads, larger BC squads, the lack of tanks will means I would be reluctant to put the BCs in a rhino, too easey a target

I completely forgot to inclkude my Wolf Priest in the list!
I most often use a wolf priest and a Rune Priest for the "Potions and Balms" and psycic storm combo.
I've recently used the predator, whirlwind, BCs in rhino, GH in Razorback and two attbikes w HB. What I've realiseg though is that that list lacks in infantry.
So maybe should I lose all of my tanks and go for an all infantry list?
with the exception of the whirlwind, the tanks have a place in larger games, the whirlwind has a place in any game provided you know your opponents are not 3+saves,
I play against Tau, Khorne Berzerkers an DH in the campaign so the Whirlwind comes in handy. Against Tau and DH (has alot of stormtroopers) as infantry killer and against Khorne as minefield when he tries to get into CC.
Having read your answer in my other post I realise that I should drop the Predator in favour of the Long Fangs.
I wont buy a dread right now. Maybe later.
So what about this:
Wolf Priest w potions
Rune priest w LC
4 scouts w melta, plasmapist and WolfGuard w PF
11 Blood Claws w 3 PF (on foot with the Wolf Priest)
6 Grey Hunters w bolters (stand and shoot + screen for the Long Fangs)
11 Blood Claws w 3 PF (on foot with the Rune Priest)
Long Fangs (2 HB, 2 MissileL)
Maybe I wont be able to squeeze al this into 1250 pts?
Will the Blood Claws be to vulnerable?
not bad at all, I would be tempted to downgrade one of the HQs cos I supect it costs you a lot, to a WGBL, but otherwise fine.
The question of vulnerability, this is asked too often in isolation, however, here you have yyour full list.
Yes teh BCs are vulnerable, but you have done a number of things to mitigate this. I would advance the GH, not just screen with them, you trhan have a lot of models wandering up the field, sure he can kill some but will he get them all?
If he concentrates his fire he neglects the LF at his peril.
against your reference armies: Khorne - concentrate on taking out those bezerks, they are more than a match for BCs, you need to thin down his number, ensuire you charge and mob up
Against Tau - you really need to use cover and the HS choices to best effect, know what? if he wipes out the fangs and GH but your claws reach him intact you should rip him to bits, so dont be scared to let him shoot at your fangs
Against DG - be carefull of =][=s but otherwise, if he is using mostly inducted guard, as per Tau
Downgrade the HQs? Well I could get rid of the Runepriest in favour of a WGBL but I do love being able to charge while in cover... And while being in the psychic storm my guys get that 5+ inv save...
Should I use Longfangs with 2HB and 2MissL or just 4 Missile Launchers?

my concern with the HQs is about cost, ideally in 1250 you should be spending less than 287 points on HQs, but in any case, al lthe points you spend there are dragging from your troops.
My personnal preference is to take a single HQ in 1250 points, but this is not legal wit puppies, so personally I would try and keep the cost down.
Personnaly I prefer 4 MLs, for the LF, but it is a personnal thing and against light infantry (Tau and Inducted gaurd) the HBs may be just as good

The HQs in the list above is less than 240 pts. But I'll think about downgrading it further.
Have to think more about what to give the Long Fangs also. I have used two HB on my attackbikes with stunning results on Tau before.
I am a little concerned about the lack of movement I get with Long Fangs compared to the attackbikes I'm used to but I guess I'll work it out.
13th are cool but costly and I have a lot of fluff on my wolves that I dont want to give up.
I would admit (indeed I have) that this is possibly a personnal thing - the HQs
Heavy Bs are good vs Tau unless he overlads on crisis suits, and also usefull vs guard but far less effective VS Khorne, I would take the MLs as a better average choice
If your fangs are wiped by turn 3 but you got your assault units in there are you worried?
