    I wanted to use this for tournaments if i ever go to one im not sure how it would fare but this is what im making.

    How well do you think it will do and how many would call this a cheesy army list.

    The Name is from an Opeth song its just temporary.

    Any advice would be welcome.

    Looks ok. Its very different from my Black Legion mechanised infantry so I cant help too much but heres my two cents:

    You don't need 3 anti tank LS in one squad. Break them up or just take one and spend the points elsewhere (a lot of people dont like LS at all)

    I would also include tactical squads, rather than devastators, check out Chaosbrynn's excellent tactica at http://www.librarium-online.com/arti...howarticle=198 for more info in this area. I would replace the devastators with preds but thats probably just because I like tanks so much ^_^

    Sorry this is so short I cant really think of anything else right now. Btw I like your chapters name, very cool

    This bad boy is pretty buffed out, start with ditching the melta bombs, he diffinatly wont need that, and the pureity seals, which chaplains cant use. Some ppl think LCs are over powered, personal perferance, but you do sacrofice the powersword you paid for when buying the charactor. Also the Artificer armour, isnt really needed, he will kill enough around him do space him from many attacks. Otherwise, he sounds like a monster CC dude.

    Ditch the melta bombs, makes this squad to expensive, plus everyturn this squad assaults a vehicel, is a turn this squad does not annilate 10 or more models from troop squads, plus they arent very good againt vehicels, because a smart commander will move his vehicel 12s" senceing a charge, meaning you will hit on 6s. Further more, he will have an extra turn shooting at you, all bad things.

    These wont do you any good. For the same cost you could pick up two tactical squads with a lascannon 5 men total. They would do way better.

    eh.. id ditch them, you really need more troops rather then devs.

    Suggestions, if your going to infilrate, infilrate marines and verterans + command sqauds. If your not going to infilrate, then dont infilrate anything. Though having your devs infilrate to cover is nice, plus the place last. Check if the tourney you plan on going to, is using gamma missions, if not, your current army falls flate on its face.

    Honestly, this army needs way more troops, definatry lean out your HQ, hes way to many points. And i hate to say it, but maybe only take 3 LSTs, or go all fast attack. Peace.

    The thing is I wanted to stay away from typical marine armies. I wanted the snipers because there snipers and snipers are amazing with the killing high toughness creatures and pinning and well you know what snipers do. Second the entire army can either infitrate or deepstrike I wanted to keep it like that because it goes with the fluff and such. I wanted to stay away from tanks as much as possible cause i just finished an armoured company and I am sick of them now. I wanted to do as much devatsators as possible in the small squads cause it goes with the fluff and they are infiltrating. The Assault squad is ment more for counter attacking and keeping giant threats down to a minimum so they are equipted as such.

    I agree with the landspeeders and I will just do what you said.

    The army will be played like so have scouts on the out sides of the table and the devastators in the middle. They will all be in as much cover as possible. then the landspeeder squads will fill in the gaps between the scouts and devs. Making a solid firing line and the assault squad will be there for any trouble that arises.

    This army lets me set up a line anywere on the table that I want because everything is so mobile.
