Well, ok, you have one platoon, this counts as one troop, you need the second troop to make the army legal. This means another platoon OR an armored fist squad OR a conscript platoon.
Maybe you had a misreading about heavy weapons platoons: they are made of support squads, not tanks. Tanks are separate heavy support choices, so remove the command section.

well not sure how other people would react to this but maybe seperate your main hq into its own squad then take your hq from your 'heavy support' platoon and shimmy your heavy weapon groups into a platoon with them. thus satisfying the need for 2 platoons.
you also have 37 points left over... give your command squad some fire power

A heavy weapons platoon is a heavy support, not a troop.
    He needs 2 troops.

Put something else here, give them a Mortar, and the HSO a power weapon, and a Standard.

2 x Special Wapons Support Squad ( 6 guardsmen per Squad)
+ 3 Guardsmen with Sniper Rifles per Squad
    = 130 points
This is up to you, but I don't find snipers too effective, unless you are alway playing Monstrous Creatures.

    2 x Fire Support Squad
    + 1 x Autocannon per squad
    + Sharpshooter doctrine
    = 190 points
    Nice!

    1 x Sentinal Squad ( 2 Sentinals)
    + Armageddon Pattern - Lascannon
    = 110 points
    Fine.

    Elites
    1 x Hardened Veterans Squad ( Veteran Sergeant + 4 Veterans)
    + 2 x Plasma guns
    + 1 x Meltagun
    = 65 Points
Mixed weapons aren't good, keep all plasma, or all Meltas. You also don't say if you are Dropping these fellows. If not, put a Lascannon, three Plasmas, 10 men = IG Cheese!

    1x Orgryns Squad ( 4 Orgryns + Ogryn Bone'ead)
    = 135 points
Ghandi will hit me, but I would rather have Rough Riders for a CC counter charge unit.

    Troops

    Infrantry Platoon Alpha
    Junior Officer + 4 Guardsmen
    = 40 points
Again - add something Mortar or HB, and give the JO - Iron Discipline.
    Infrantry Squad 1 + 2 (9 Guardsmen + Veteran Sergeant per Squad)
    + 1 x Meltagun
    + Hardened Fighters
    + Frag Grenades
    =192 points
Arrggg. I realy don't like Hardened Fighters. Troop squads are effective with one Heavy weapon and one Special weapon. My Favorite is Missle Launcher and Plasma Gun. This squad will get pummelled very fast.

    Infranty Platoon Delta
    Junior Officer + 4 Guardsmen
    = 40 points
    Same advice as before.

    Infrantry Squad 3 ( 9 Guardsmen + Veteran Sergeant )
    + Heavy Bolter
    + Sharpshooter Doctrine
    = 86 points
Drop Sharpshooter in line squads. Fine for HW squads, but IMO a waste in line squads. Also add a Plasma gun or Grenade Launcher.
    Heavy Support

1 x Leman Russ Battle Tank
    + Heavy Bolter
    + Heavy Flamer side sponsons
    = 155 points
Have sponson Heavy Bolters, much better than flamers you never shoot.
    1x Leman Russ Battle Tank
    + Lascannon
    +Heavy Bolters side sponsons
    = 165 points
Drop the Lascannon and have hull HB. I also like smoke on ALL tanks.

    1 x Basalisk mk2
    + Indirect fire
    = 125 points
    Excellent!
    Total=1463 points

Some units are O.K., but the CC squads are a waste, and you need to give something to all of your command squads, otherwise they are wasted.

Ig Strength is HWs, so you need put a HW in any unit you can.

hello i'm no ig expert but using that basic list and the advice i have come up with this:
hq- command platoon w/ heroic senior officer, 4 plebs, mortar and 1 plasma gun
--fire support 6 plebs with an autocannon
    --2 sentinels w/ lascannons

    elite-
    ogryns stay the same
    9 hardened vets w/ hardened vet searg(making 10). w/ lascannon+3 plasmas

    troops-
    infantry platoon 1(alpha)
    --command squad w/ mortar
--infantry squad(9) w/ vet seargant, missile launcher and 1 plasma
--infantry squad(9) w/vet seargant, heavy bolter, plasma gun and frag grenades

    infantry platoon 'delta'
    --command squad w/mortar
--infantry(9) w/ vet seargant , missile launcher and 1 plasma, frag grenades
--infantry(9) w/ vet seargant ,heavy bolter, plasma and frag grenades

heavy support staying the same except both leman russ tanks have heavy bolters

points total 1497 (maybe you can double check that)
taken out the snipers but depending on the game, sometimes you may replace your sentinels with snipers... like against hording armies(imo) especially nids, you can pick off the synapse chaps
