Welcome to Librarium Online!
This is my first serious armored list. Feel free to bash it hard.
Destroyer tank hunter 265
3x Sentinels 160
First of all, the tank hunter stays in. Its a fluff thing. I also dont have any exterminator turrets, or i would replace the HQ and probably 2 of the troops with them. I have gone for quantity over quality on this list, hoping i can take more incoming fire.
Thanks for any advice.
Edit: Forgot to mention, total comes up to 1974. Where should i spend the extra points? Was thinking a PHS on each conqueror, or perhaps smoke on most of my tanks.

Did you think of adding and armored fist squad for a few dismounted crunchies. Other than that not a bad list. There is another thread that basically says improved comms in AC is drek. You can do a search to see the debate.
I agree! It's a nice list - will be hell to meet you as SM or other units with high pts cost and 3+ save.
One thing that I think you shouldn't take: Sponson-weapons! It may seem nice to have thiese in case your BC gets destroyed, but hey - you have got some more cannons on the tank and you can't fire them all in the same round - ordnance or off/def weapons!
So - a piece of advice, skip the sponson weapons and give all the RUSSes LC instead!
2nd - Don't use the conquerors! Take ordinary russes instead, the weapon on the conqueror is still an ordnance weapon so you won't be able to move more than 6" anyways, even if they are supposed to be more "agile" and faster than the ordinary RUSS. Take a couple of AF sweep-teams in chimeras mounting autocannons instead!
BTW: the demolisher isn't a heavy support choice, it's a troop choise!
Actually, the conqueror is just a heavy weapon, so i can move it 6 and fire 1 small template, 9 heavy bolter shots, and 2 coaxial storm bolter shots. Can also add the pintle heavy stubber if i want to as well.
Also, having multiple heavy bolters on each tank allows me the freedom to choose whether i want to shoot with the cannon or to throw a hail of lead at short range.
I am using the army/vehicle lists directly off of the GW UK site, which are you using that says that dems are troops and not heavys?
@Thunderer: Imp comms are there because they are free, and might help me if one of the missions at a tourney makes me use reserves. If i had to pay for them, i probably wouldnt.
i just got done reading the AC rules for the first time, they are really interesting. I have been aware of the vehicles for a while though, I have all imperial armour books except taros campaign. So, I like the list, and the tank hunter isn't bad, just a little excessive. Just a thing that I don't like about your army is the sentinels, something that can be destroyed by a bolter just doesn't float my boat. But then again, they are cheap heavy weapons...
Well, yeah, I don't think I ever mount enough anti-tank firepower to take that list on with any normal list, you would win any average fight at the store methinks....
Hey, have you ever tried Salamanders? those look so sexy, and they have autocannons!@

Pssst.... give me kudos....
I'm using Imperial Armour vol:1 "Armoured Company". It's not like you can use it in tournaments (well some maybe) but it's much better....a bit expensive however.....
Armored Company is Chapter Approved...you can use it in any Rogue Trader tourney unless it is specifically disallowed by the tournament director.Originally Posted by Kristofer

Ok...the correct name was "Armoured Battlegroup" page 256 Imperial Armour vol 1.
Armoured companies are a way to lose friends - generally you are making a list that means that 80% + of your enemies weapons are made useless (i.e. bolters/lasguns). "Don't talk rubbish - you can target their rear armour" - yeah right as if you are going to get behind 10 tanks. Just my opinion of a totally wank addition to 40k. :x
Your list is a good as far as armoured compaies go, maybe the addition of armoured fist unit would be good to take objectives in impassible terrain or to give you more tactical options. Also, your command tank is very expensive, perhaps you should cut down on the upgrades a bit.

If you want the Vanquisher for fluff/fun purposes that's fine, but I feel the role is better performed by giving your Russes (well the BS4 ones) anti-tank rounds. Does the same job but cheaper. Ok you will lose a little range...but do you really need 96" range? You already have 72", unless your trying to hit the guy on the next table I'd say that's more than enough. Even if you just like the model, I converted my vanquisher, but now I just use it as a Russ with Anti-tank modifications.
