    The basic idea was to have the Assault Marines and Captain either boost forward or DS into melee against heavy infantry, while the scouts infiltrate into assault. The normal dreads walk forward, firing their assault cannons and storm bolters until they reach melee. The ven dread and tac squads form a firebase and the whirlwinds stay behind cover and take out anything that looks juicy.

    Make this a chaplain, ditch everything but jump pack, consider ditching the lightening claws, as they arent as point effective, however i still love em, and you need frag grenades. A chaplain is 4x better then a captain in CC.

    If you have left over points, the smoke are ok, but by no means nessicary on this dreadnought, id suggest you also give them both a drop pod, makes them much more scary.

    Its 2 risky to a put a plasma pistol on a sgt, make them 10 man each, remove all melta bombs, if you need better anti tank, id suggest you trade a dread and whirwind for them.

    Well, i think skimmers could do both the job of this tank + your dread, and do the job better, for less points, also, those assault squads are made to crew through infantry, so your basically doubling up on anti ifantry and forgetting about tanks, ect, i think a dev squad is a must at 1850.

    somethings wrong with the assault squads

    one 10 men squad with vet. sergeant /w p-fist and 2 plasma pistols costs 260pts not 250!

    so there only 10pts left
