Nice list, but a few notes:

¥ If you deepstrike and plan on using that teleport homer that the vet. sgt. has he must be ON the table to use, he can't still be inside the Rhino.

¥ Off personal exeriences, I would go one dread how you have and one with an assault cannon and ccw, then give both extra armor.

¥ Extra armor and smoke on the Rhinos is A MUST...

¥ Other than that it looks fine, but like always....mEGALO will come in and make me look pathetic (and to tsk tsk again :shifty: all because im puritan so I don't know what I'm talking about with ISTs) (if he doesn't I expect props from everyone  )

I agree with Emp on most everything. But especially on "nice list".

I think keeping both dreads as TLLC/ML is the way to go, but many people do like the AC/DCCW weapon. Since you've got a decent amount of assaulting squads, I'd stick with the dreads the way you have them for more long-range shooting. You do need extra armor on them, though. Smokes are optional -- you want them to be firing each and every turn.

Speaking of which, extra armor and smokes for the Rhinos, just like Emp says.

I would replace the inquisitor's combi-melta with a psycannon. Good for killing light armor on its own, it's a great assault weapon to boot. If you're close enough to a tank to get maximum use from the squad's melta guns that you've joined the inquisitor with, you're close enough to use his melta bombs for the tougher tanks. Consider giving him a teleport homer as well, so you've got two IST melta squads with TP homers.

Freeing up points for all this can be tight, admittedly. I'd start with the incinerators. I usually refrain from taking GK special weapons because you lose the NFW/True Grit combo, which is quite nice as is. You can afford to drop a model or two from each melta IST squad without sacrificing their effectiveness much.

I keep looking for a way for you to fit a GM into your HQ, but shy of radically altering the list, it's probably not possible, and your list looks pretty solid as is.

Well, now there's two of us that can get schooled.
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.

Hah, why does everyone think I'm going to come storming through here throwing insults and snide looks around? Especially since the two of you covered just about everything already!

    1 thunderhammer
Just want to make sure you realize that Thunderhammers, when given to GK Terminators, come with a Storm Shield as well.

I'd actually lose the combi-melta on the Inquisitor and replace it with a Teleport Homer. Lose one IST from one of your squads (*not* the squad that already has a TP Homer in it), so that you have multiple choices for where to land the incoming GK units.

The extra pintle stormbolter on the Rhino isn't worth the points.

I'm also a fan of mixing up your two Dreadnoughts: one TLLC/ML, one Assault Cannon/DCCW. Remember that a Dreadnought counts as 10 models in an assault for the purpose of outnumbering, and that Fearless models (ie, GK) that are outnumbered may end up taking extra wounds - a Dreadnought in there could save their armored behinds.

I have actually realised i made mistakes for the points cost of 2 of my inquisitorial storm trooper squads, so it was a fair bit easier points wise.

    Looks pretty good.

For those extra points I'd suggest searchlights on all vehicles, and smoke on the Dreads. Yes, I know you *should* be shooting every turn with them, but sometimes you're in a bad place and want to prevent the Dread from dying. For its cost, smoke is invaluable.

I think they meant you give such wonderful and complete answers you render the rest of ours irrelevant :p

I'll third (fourth?) the nice list comment though.

Yeah, that's about the size of it. Since when has mEGALO ever been "snide" or insulting? As the recent scuffle with brother-captian stern has proved, Mr MANIAC is unfailingly polite.

I say it as a joke, this isn't the first thread I've said that. Mainly because, going back to when I started LO, always on the DH it seemed me and mEGALO were the only ones posting in the armies (mEGALO even helped me with my list before I went totally puritan  ). Besides, both me and mEGALO are New York-ers!!!! (NY 4 Life)
