    I originally posted this in the DH main forum asking for advice on it, then I had yet another review of it and decided that I might as well make the Inquisitor a Lord instead of an Elite since I'm paying the same for the BC and Term squad either way (HQ or Elite) and his stats don't change, and since the Inq retinue is providing most of my heavy firepower it made sense to get a few extra wounds. Comments please

    Actually, you DO need to take the Brother-Captain as an HQ choice. You may not use GK Dreadnoughts without a GK Hero, and the only models that count as GK Heroes are the HQ GK choices! I know, it's stupid considering that the HQ and Elite BC are identical, but that's the way it works!

    The IST squads have Hellguns, not lasguns. Just want you to realize so you don't use the wrong stats in battle!

    As for the Lord, using Multi-Meltas on a footslogging unit is probably not the way to go - Heavy 24" weapons mean you're going to be in harms way to use those guns, and because of the unit's speed they won't get to the front quickly. I suggest either using the 1 Plasma Cannon/2 Heavy Bolters idea, or finding the points for a Rhino for this unit.

    Pretty good composition, aside from those minor points.

    Damnit I didn't notice the HQ/Dreads thing ;s Ah well, the points I save on the Inq over the Inq Lord is a couple more ISTs I guess, a few more wounds on the weaker units can't be a bad thing. Swapped. I'm changing the retinue build as well to the PCannon/HBx2 one, it's cheaper than shelling out for a Chimera (both in the sense of shifting stuff around to find the points and in actual cash terms ). Once I've sorted that I'll repost the list.

    You can only haev 5 henchmen in a regular inquisitors retinue. SO you have 1 more model tahtn is legal. I think you would want to lose some of the inq's retinue and the assasain and get more ISTs. It needs more bodies on the field when the game starts. 520 of your pts would not be available for the start if you deep strike the GKs which i would advise against. I play pure GK, so i dont really like the ISTs.

    I would definitely find the points to put extra armor and smokes on your rhino. IMO it is much more useful on a transport than your dreadnought.

    I would keep the Eversor, at your points level Eversors are mainiac suicide units that can get the charge and wipe out entire squads. If you play them right at low point levels a good assassin can utterly cripple an opponents list in a single charge.
    The only honorable options left to we combatants is seppuku or semantics...which amount to the same thing really.
