    1st company

    Hi I've always liked the idea of a 1st company ultramarine force, from the battle of macragge. SO Here is my 1000 point list

    6 marines- plasma gun
    heavy bolter
    veteran seargent with power fist
    mounted in razor back with extra armour 210 points

    6 marines- plasma gun
    heavy bolter
    veteran seargent with power fist
    mounted in razor back with extra armour 210 points

    5 terminators- assault cannon 220 points

    master of sanctity - bolt pistol
    - terminator honurs
    - melta bombs

    command squad - company champion
    - veteran seargent with power fist
    - the squad has furious charge
    - mounted in razor back with twin linked lasscannons and extra armour 359 points
    999 points

    Tactics: This army is designed for more of an astheticly pleasing force. Therefore everyone will have the dark angel robes with a dark angel insignia filed off or with some g.s. They wiill all have the ultramarine shoulder pads and the terminators will have the forge world termie upgrade kit. I might start winnig games, once I play with it a few times. My 1st model is in the coversion forum

    Yeah I know but you cant run vets as troops so thats why im using the d.a vet modles for them.

    If you use traits you can give your tactical marines skills, essentially making them veterans in all but name.
    Also, I'd use the BT bits instead of the DA metal veterans; it's cheaper, look better (IMO) and I think the tabarded look fits better with ultramarines. The sprues also have bits to represent older armour patterns which is approporiate for the veteran company. Use what you save by not using metal minis to get some sculpted shoulderpads, they would add a lot to the look I think.

    Yeah theres a pic in the conversion forum. Im using the ultramarine shoulder pad from the commander with a skull for the command squad. I picked 5 up from e-bay. Also Im using chaplian cassius for the commander. It only makes sense.
