    1850 IG Drop Troopers - Tournament

    Working on a competitive drop trooper list here is what I have so far. The Inquisitor is there for some daemon slaying power, gun servitors, and to bring an assassin to the table. Originally he was there for a psychic hood to prevent my army getting sent of the table by psychic powers. However, with fearless last chancers, throw-away HVs and Rough Riders the psychic hood would largely be a waste of points. For the Inquisitor Lord I originally had a mystic in part of his retuine but I had to drop 1 point from my list to give the IL a bolt pistol then put the remaining 5 pts into the demolisher's heavy armor. Any advice on getting those 6 points back would especially be appreciated. *Edit* One option seem to be giving up the Heirophant which only will cost me the difficult terrain vs demons assaulting ability but gain me 4d6" first strike vs any deep striker, then I can dump the remaining 2 points into an auspex for 4d6" vs infilitrators.

    How many divisions do you have here, they are not very well protected and are a whole lot of points (more than a third of your list) you might want to tone it down.

    You have your purposes mixed up, make it all shooty, get some mystics, sages, and give the IL a psycannon and the emperor's tarot

    Last Chancers count as a command squad and two troop choices when I take that many additional men. In fact per the FAQ it says that I do not have to take a Command Platoon at all. I forgot to include doctrines so they are noted bellow and I will edit them in as well, but most of my army is Deep Strike. Last Chancers are able to split into up to 5 sub units the heavy weapons go with Kage and Schaffer while the Plas/Melta go in 3s with 1 Demo Charge each. The improved coms on the Sentinels allow rerolls on the deep strikes.

    Last Chancers already come with deep strike the Drop Troop doctrine is only needed for my HV atm. Would terminator armour be worth it on the Inquisitor Lord? If I drop the daemon hammer and other assorted CC equipment I have enough points for it and the psycannon.
