Blood Angels [1500] - Warning: Jump Pack heavy!

This is an extremely jump pack heavy army, as I love jump packs!
There are at least 25 jump pack men, although if the DC roll goes my way, I can end up with 27.

I was trying to get another lord in their or High Priest or whatever hero to lead my HG, but not enough points.

This was a quick-think list, that I thought of quite fast, so there is some flaws.
Also, I was thinking of getting rid of the annihilator, but without it my anti tank would be next to none!

    There it is.
    The reason I posted this list is to find out a way to get rid of some units and add in any sort of hero;
without damaging my chances of too much less DC.

Dont use honour guards, use normal assault squads, backed up with a discustingly large deathcompany.

Other HQs will just waste points.

    More Baals, less preds.

You've got power fists and melta guns on very swift units and two lascannons with enough bodyguards to last a while. I would say that's enough anti-tank shooting power, depending on what you're facing. So I would recommend to drop the Predator anyways, or at least the lascannon sponsons to save you some points (think about the mobility of your tank and shooting its weapons after having moved).
I also don't know about the Baal Predator. Why not change it to some lighter and quicker vehicles that can support your assault troopers?
I also don't like your Scout Sergeants. You spent points on Terminator Honors but refused to give them something useful from the Armory (power fist or something alike). If you need some more points for other units, why not drop their veteran status? The 1 extra attack is not worth THAT much if you're not sure to score a hit, wound and ignore armor saves. The morale problem could be solved if the HQ unit you are planning to buy will be a commander, thus enhancing everyone's leadership.

[Careful with my advice. Regard my experience as zero, I am a thoroughly a theoreticist. Heed the advice of others first, and mine only if acknowledged by someone else.]

The purpose of this list is the honour guard.
I rarely field them, and wanted to give them a try! This list is a one game list for experimentation.

You know what, I will actually post up my real competitive list if you guys want to see it.

    Thanks all for the advice.

my opinion is to take out the honor guard sqd and replace it for one asslt sqd or...

use a vet asslt sqd and make them a super armour-busting unit. give meltaguns to two of your vets then give your vet asslt sgt a combi-melta and a powerfist. this would be better than the honor guard, which you'll not want to lose in a points match game.

deep strike them so the 3 meltas will be effective. remember to get them within 6".

IMHO, this is pretty much all a vet asslt sqd will excell at.

good luck, and hop this helps
