yes i Know this army is small but its all i have at the moment so any comments etc would be accepted.
Command platoon 4 guardsmen. 2 gran launchers 2 lasguns, chem inhalers.
Senior Officer with bolt pistol, power wep, carapace armour.
Special weapon support team. 3 las pistols/ccw, 2 flamers, 1 gren launcher, drop troops, melta bombs, chem inhalers and cyber enhancement.
commisar. surveyor, bolt pistol, ccw
Grenadier squad. 5 men, 1 vet sgt, 1 flamer.
Grenadier squad. 5 men. 1 gren launcher.
special wep squads
the initial idea is to have the special weapon squad drop behind the enemy and cause a distraction while the main army goes and does its stuff.
the idea is okay, but you have like 17 models with T 3 and a max of armor save 4. thats just not acceptable. your force can kick ass and has a lot ofspecial weapons but a unit of 10 marines with heavy bolters will kill your army in 2 turns. and don`t even get started on what happens if a flamer gets in range of you :w00t:

At 400 points it's hard for the IG to really shine. Instead make a 40k in 40 mins list.
Oh, for an effective army don't use Chem inhalers or Cyber enhancements. They're don't deliver a bonus worth the points they charge
Also Grenadiers and storm troopers are only effectively utilised if equipped with either two plasmaguns or two meltaguns. Grenadiers also benefit highly from a chimera for manourvrebility while storm troopers can make use of infiltrate and deepstrike.
... only triumph could turn pooing his pants into a good thing..
i would drop the flamers and grenade launchers for the stromies and get plasma's/ melta's
