As good as the LRC is, its a huge point sink in less than 2000 pts, and it is going to be a fire magnet.

You are talking almost 700 points for the bc, wp and lrc and yes it does have 14 armour all around, but if your enemy concentrates all it's fire power on it, then something is going to get lucky and pop it.

The upside to that is, you can get the gh and wl up tp the enemy pretty much unscathed.

Use the WS behind enemy lines rule to cause some chaos to his rear line - normally tanks or heavy weapons. Get the LF's into a good poistion early on with good LOS and they should take out some armoured units.

In my personal experience you need to max out troops in a SW army, and take things like Landspeeder Tornadoes to make up for the lack of fire power.

Saying all that though - it is the kind of army that i would field!!! ;-p
Space Wolves are badasses that operate just barely within the rules.
13th Co. didn't even know there were rules applying to how badass they could be.

... and Daemonhunters make it three - now just need a spare room to store it all!!!

If you're going fluffy though - aren't landspeeders a bit unfluffy (SW's mistrust for that sorta newfangled tech?)
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Just because it's unfluffy doesn't mean it shouldn't be considered.

As much as SW have disdain for Deep Striking, our termies will still do it - ok only if the rest of the army drop pods, but there is provision for it.

The same way that we dislike jump packs, but the shorter in the tooth Blood Claws are daft enoughto use them, and is something i'm also considering for my army.

Sometimes the least fluffy army is the way to go - if all of us played fluffy armies everybody would know what to expect. When they play against me anything can happen.

You have an army creator? WHat is that thing and where can I get one?
If it's just a codex sitting on your lap, then never mind...

Well, IMO there's little that's unfluffy for SW. While most might grumble about fancy stuff only BCs are foolish enough to use SW are notorious for their independence. Some Wolf Lords might actually see the use of the 'fancy stuff' and actually use it in spite of the strange looks he might receive from his collegues.
You might even use it because others don't expect it and thus possibly gain an edge.

If you want a lot of 'Speeders, go ahead.

Its GW's official army building softwear. There is one for all the Imperial armies (SM, IG, DH, WH, BA, SW, DA, BT) and one of the imperiums enemies (CSM, LotD, CW, DE, Nids, Orks, Tau, Necrons). Each is kind of expensive, and really, there are so many errors it might not be worth it...Id advise a program called army builder, which has lists for wh40k, whfb, pluss non gw games. I just have the demo version and I know its better.

GW's softwear can be seen here:
