    SM combat patrol tourney(400pts)

    Ok so this is it. The main plan is for the tactical squads to stay still and for the scouts to slow any assaulting squads. The tornado zooms around taking out anything annnoying(hopefully).(i re-wrote it to go by the rules)

    Troops

    5 man scout squad- 3 sniper rifles, 1 heavy bolter. Vet. serg. with power weapon.108pts

    5 man tactical squad- heavy bolter, flamer, vet. serg. with krak genades and power weapon.113pts

    5 man tactical squad- missile launcher, vet. serg. with krak grenades and auspex.104pts

    Fast Attack


    Land speeder tornado with multi melta and heavy flamer.75 pts.

    Any ideas?

    ok im not very good at this kind of stuff but ill give it a go. Also try not to double post.

    if this is a shooty squad why has the serg got a power weapon? Also unless u only have a heavy bolter model i would switch it with a missle launcher.

    what is the use of the flamer and power weapon if its a shooting squad?

    drop the vet serg and power wepon and get 2 more rifles

    5 man tactical squad- heavy bolter, flamer, vet. serg. with krak genades and power weapon.113pts
    drop the flamer and power wepon/krak grenedes as they shouldn't be moving into cc
    with the points get more men in here

    5 man tactical squad- missile launcher, vet. serg. with krak grenades and auspex.104pts
    drop the vet serg
    and krak grneds and get more men

    make it assault cannon and heavy bolter instead

    Any ideas?
    looks good but you shouldn't mix shooting and assaulting in one unit

    L.S.T 80 points

    6 man tac squad 1 with missile launcher 1 with plasma gun

    6 man tac squad 1 with heavy bolter 1 with plasma gun

    6 man scout squad 1 with heavy bolter 5 with sniper rifles

    403 points

    This list brings numbers and enough vesatility to take down any army:

    9 heavy bolter shots 4 ass cannon shots 5 sniper shots missile launcher shot 10 bolters can take down hordes

    2 plasma guns 4 ass cannon shots and the missile launcher can take down the inevitable marnie army... Hope this helps I might try this army myself it seems quite good :p
