This is my current kill-team set up. I played a kill-team game last week with a similar unit, and it did very nicely. Comments?
Hardened veteran squad:
Veteran Sergeant w/ Storm Bolter, surveyor
x3 veterans w/ Plasma guns
Missile Launcher team
Close Order Drill
158 points total

Ideal I'd have thought for a fast-moving assault team - and a real beatch for anything tough like a boss.
I treated myself to the Forgeworld Veteran extras for my starting Kill Team:
1 x Vet Sergeant: Trademark Item, Bolt-Pistol, Power Sword, Surveyor
8 x Veterans with Shotgun
1 x Veteran with Flamer
All with Frag & Krak Grenades
Doctrines: Die-Hards, Hardened Fighters.
Only an idiot fights a war on two fronts. Only the heir to the throne of the kingdom of idiots would fight a war on twelve fronts.
Just a few notes on the doctrines, you can't use sharpshooters with veterans, as it's BS:3 models only, and i'm not sure if you would want to use close order drill in kill team, as the entire squad would have to stick together (a rare occurence in kill team),
I would probably suggest swapping sharpshooters for camoleoline, you also don't need the veterans doctrine, as it removes the 0-1 choice and you only have one squad, as far as plasma goes, personal preferance i suppose, but remember for every overheat your losing 21pts or so.....
Also flamers rule a bit in kill team, and missile launchers seem like over-kill to me, heavy bolters all the way!!
Hope that was of use..
