    2k major divergence SM

    Ok, I couldn't sleep last night, heres an idea for an army I came up with.

    See but don't be seen
    Take the fight to them

    Eye to eye
    We stand alone

    Epistolary- Force weapon, Psychic hood. (207)
    -Might of heros, FOTD, bolt pistol, familiar, term honours, frag nades, artificer armor, IH.

    Command squad- (313) Furious charge
    Vet srgt- power fist
    2 meltas
    Company champion
    Apothecary
    4 marines, BP/ccw

    In a rhino with EA and smoke.

    Should come out to 1999, though ive rewritten it quite a few times, and have a hard time getting all the points right for some reason.

    Anyway, i have some good combat squads, and lots of shooting. 5 AC, 3 HB, a few meltas for armor. 4 Missle launchers.

    I dont know, I like it alot, what does everyone else think?

    Okay... Let me get up first!

    You want critique? Okay.:w00t:

    *Rather interesting with the Techmarine. Yes he does need at least to have a bolt weapon of some sort. The Servo-harness' plasma pistol will still overheat and wound him.
    *So, you plan to Rhino rush? to do that effectively you need about 3-4. Maybe give 1 to your melta squad.
    *The dreads might do well. They're pretty well designed to keep the heat off the Rhinos, especially with the backup of the LSTs. Never mind if you get immobilised, the Techmarine may be able to fix it.
    *The infiltrating Dev Sqaud is well done. So are the FS tacticals. Enough meat shields to keep the big guns going.

    Wow. you look like you made only one mistake, and that was to not Rhino the Melta Squad. If you actually give a damn about that, make one of those LSTs into a Multi-Melta basic LS, 15pts less. Then make the Lascannon squads 5 man, 30pts less. Remove the smoke from the Dreads. The lack of firing the Assault Cannons will only make you die a little bit inside every turn, 6pts less. Take 1 man (ONE MEASLEY LITTLE MAN) from your Command Squad, 15pts less. Note that you don't need to remove the Smoke from the Dreads, it's just a suggestion.

    With those modifications, you should have enough for a Rhino like you normally get.
