ive been working on this list for a while and i'm looking for ways to perfect it. so far everyones feed back has been very helpful but i still need some more advise on how to improve my list. actual feed back is needed, dont just tell me to read a tactics article or anything like that, i'd rather hear peoples opinions on what works for them.
here it is... going for 2000pt...
Heralds of ragnerok + daemon hunters 1765 pt (254pt left to spend)
Trust your battle brother + death before dishonor
City fight stratagems: combat engineers, barricades, and preliminary bombardment
HQ: codicier + bolter + artificer armor + terminator honors + iron halo + tybb = 164pt
Attached character: reclusiarch + bolter + artificer armor + terminator honors + tybb= 124pt
Command squad: 8 space marines + plasma gun x 2 + Apothecary + 1 company champion + tybb = 209pt
Troop1: 8 space marines + 1 melta gun + terminator honors (sergeant) + lightning claw + storm bolter + trust your battle brothers = 189pt
Troop2: 8 space marines + 1 melta gun + terminator honors (sergeant) + power fist + trust your battle brothers = 184pt
Troops 3: 8 grey knights = 225
Troops 4: 8 grey knights = 225
Hv1: 8 devastators + 4 missile launchers = 200pt
5 grey knight terminators 245pt
since the last time i posted this ive added more bodies and toned down some of the characters.
althoagh im having trouble deciding what to add next. i was thinking maybe a vindicator to get that much needed ordinace, but im not sure how effective they are, plus they have crapy side armor. also i was thinking about dreadnoughts but i fear that they may die to easily. i am hesitant about taking armor since many veterans are good at destroying it. also i was wondering if i should use land speeders or bikers. im also considering a tech marine just becuase i got some cool conversion ideas for one. please give me some helpful feedback, it would be most aprecaited.

Maybe you could get that Vindicator. It's a powerful addition despite it's weaker side armour. Since when was a vehicle's side armour the best on any vehicle anyway?

Post your army lists in the ARMY LIST section! Not that hard!
Independant characters cannot make use of trust your battle brothers, it says command squads can not characters leading them. Buy bolt pistols, better and cheaper
Drop the artificer armour on your characters, they do not need this and should crush anything without a powerweapon in combat before it can attack them. Make the codecier a epistolary abd buy him some psychic death.
Dont allied units use up elite slots?
The army lacks any real long range fire power, armour support and mobility. I can see where your going but you need to support your units more. Good options are dropping the command squad and sticking the chaplain with some jump troops, swapping the librarian for a grey knights guy to lead the terminators, getting transports for your squads, predators or landspeeders.
While command squads are nice I find that there best used as a counter charge unit for a gun line army or as an infiltrating unit.

Well for one, I agree with losing the Articifer Armour on the HQ. I would also lose the Apothecary in the Command Squad, as they should be in CC whenever possible, and the Apothecary cannot heal anyone who is in CC. The Tactical Squads look better, but with the fist and LC they are begging to be bolstered back up to 10 men and drop podded in on the enemy. As far as adding units, I would go for the bikes, as they are great at snatching up objectives and can lock shooty units in CC if need be. Mix in an attack bike or two, toss in some melta bombs and they are great tank hunters.
