on tuesday ive got a game for Madusa against my mate who is useing SMs now i now he hasnt got a huge amount of men i think a 2 tactical squads a devistator (spl) with missiles and heavy bolters and i think a Librarian

Im secking advise on what to take agianst him

i have 1 senior command squad
    1 commisar,

    1lascannon team,
    1 auto cannon team,
    1 missile lancher team,
    2 heavy bolter teams,

    2 junior command squads

enougth gaurds men to make 6 squads if they have a weapons team

    1 lascannon armed sentinal

1 leman russ Battle tank with heavy bolter sponsons
1 lemon russ demolisher with plasma cannon sponsons

any advise on what to take aginst him would be appriciated.

Yes people i know that my spelling and punctuation is awful but I am product of British teaching pollicies so what can I do about it?

Its hard to help really as you have by the looks of it no plasma guns or even grenade launchers
so i would max out on heavy weapons and squads

Looks like your need to use all your units to get to 1000 points

The leman is the best anti marine tank in the game with its AP3 pie plate, face the enemy with it and his missiles will never get past there heavy front armour

The Librarian could be a real problem for u as they have a power called fear of the darkness that casues you to take a Ld test at -2 Ld so thats Ld 5! If he deep strikes them or uses a drop pod then keep your HQs near your men and keep your men about 7"apart so that they wont all run away, this aslo helps when he gets in close combat with a squad and then beats them but now he cant move into the next squad so you cqan blast him next turn

Keep the sentinal at the back to snipe any tanks he has

Aslo get some plasma commander as your have a easyer time if you do!

Well you dont have much room for choice but maybe take the drop trooper doctrine and make one of your squads vets (its ok as you can use normal models for vets) and deep strike them by a tank and it sould kill it

Maybe put the flamers in your commmand squads so you can flame them if there get past your front line. put your command squad behind your main line

Your list looks good for the models you have but just add the vets like i said and maybe use the vet doctrine to get 3 vet units as your have some points to spare

Id play at 1000 points if i were you as with what you have your have the best chance of winning

Anything eles you need help with just ask
