I must make a Black Templar force, with Daemonhunter allies, and need help.
I planning a base Black templar force, and including some Dh units.
2000 is the limit, what do you think about it?
As long as you use DH that are NOT psykers. As BT despise them and will not ally with them.
Unless Grey Knights.
Post your army lists in the ARMY LIST section! Not that hard!
why dont you make a list, Post it in the Amry List forum, then we will comment... isant that the 'idea' of the army lists section???

Lets keep this thread on topic.
For that matter, let's just move it to the Army List section.
now the next step is to make a list. we will help you from there.
Why is this a must? If you don't mind me asking. Unless this is a special type of game/campaign you and a friend/club came up with, I feel you're really bending yourself over taking DH as allies. Black Templars don't NEED allies. And with your Champion's Vows, they won't apply to any non BT units you have in your army. (I'm fairly sure, no Codex on hand to double check the wording)Originally Posted by Matej
I say, unless this is some kind of special game deal. Ditch one or the other. Go DH, or go BT, but if you go BT DEFINITELY do not mix them with anything else. You'll cripple yourself.
EC vows only work on BT units... because if he took DH allies a GK wouldent be affected by black templars, different geen seed and so on... they are 2 inderpended armies fighting together.. so they wount affect each other.
