    Vancouver Conflict 1700pts

    Here is my latest rendition of my list for the Vancouver Conflict in a couple of weeks. I would love some input.

    I would really like to do well at this large Tournament. 5 games over two days. I have been doing really well against hoard armies, but still have a tough time with Tank heavy Marines. The HQ in the LRC is to hopefully help with this.

    HQ:

    BC + 4 Termies. - 245pts

    Elite: =][= with Psycannon - 50pts

    Eversor Assassin - 95pts

    Troops: PAGK Squad, Justicar + 9 GKs Vanilla - 275pts

    PAGK Squad - Justicar + 5 GKS + 2 Psycannons - 225pts

    Fast Attack: FAGK Squad, Justicar + 9 GKs, Vanilla - 275pts

    Heavy Support:

    Dread, AC, CCW, EA, Smoke - 118pts

    Dread, TLLC, ML, EA, Smoke - 148pts

    LRC - 268pts

    Total: 1699pts.

    The option i'm thinking of is to make the Psycannon squad of 6, a squad of 9 without any special weapons.

    You have a nice list. As for changing out the psycannon marines for more Vanilla marines, I would keep the way that it is. I like psycannons. Yes the S6 CC attacks are nice,but the psycannon can come in handy at times.
    Why use science and education when ignorance and superstition will work just as well.

    Hi Diggums

    As per your usual, a lovely list indeed.:ninja:

    The LRC question, raises its ugly head again (not really ugly though).

    Seen as you have no homers to DS your HQ in a secure fashion, then definitely go the LRC

    route. If it pays off you will do some major damage. If not, then thems the breaks

    I to would go with the Psycannons.

    The rest of the list seems pretty seamless to me, so well done and good luck

    Looks good. Only suggestion would be if you are playing CoD go w/ incinerators over psycannons.

    If tanks are the big problem, then I would make both dreads TLLC/ML, and make one of the termies TH/SS. I'm not sure what else to change, really. Tanks are my bugaboo, too, and I lose more often than I win against mechanized smurfs. (
    ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.

    Good points, I have updated slightly:

    Added a Termy, dropped the =][= and Assasissin, Changed the dread on Number6's suggestion, and just added more GKs, for a pure GK list.

    The only question with this is do I drop the extra Termy for a GM?:wacko:
