    Term/Dread Amry ideas?

I was thinking have there ever been any terminator and dread based armies out there, you know maybe 3 squads of therminators (or can you only have 2) and a few dreads.

Hmm i think you mean the DeathWing Dark Angels subsector.Only use termies as troops and can use land raiders and dreads as a support.Seems perfect for you!

Yep I field a termie army. Very tough but can also be very fragile... at 1K I have 14 models on the table... librarian, 5 man squad AC + Cyclone missile + tank hunters, 6 man squad with twin assault cannon, standard dread (AC+DCCW+S and an AT dread (TLC + ML). Fun army but it can be beaten... its in the dark angels codex.

Yes you can take all termies as they are troops and HQ choices. They are slightly more expensive but not much more. The yalso gain stubborn which means that they are fearless except that they can be pinned. Seems Good for you but remember its a elite army and it relies on dreads to give its good antitank unless you take cyclone launchers.

    Hope that helps.

Be careful with an all terminator army. They have a great armour save, but alot of fire can take them out. In assualt be careful too, powerfists strike last.

Deathwing forces are annoying and lightning claws are a saviour. Go close combat termies! 14 Termies in a 1k force is extremely annoying as I take 6-7 in a 2000 point force with wolves. Just becareful against gaurd cause 85 saves a turn kills. Good luck but make sure you have enough money to play Deathwing before you start, it's expensive money and point wise.

    I'm back.

you could always try the "Lysander Wing" - 2 small scout squads and the rest terminators using Imperial Fists
