Welcome to Librarium Online!

heres my first list.
PC, EA, SL

Welcome to the DH, khorne! I take it from your handle that you are switching from the Dark Side to the Light? Good on you. :yes:The GM is such a tempting model, and no doubt he is a nasty, nasty combatant! But he is rarely worth the investment of points in games less than, say, 1700 pts or so. Besides his immense points cost, his other main liability is that he has no insta-kill defenses, so a single lascannon or missile shot will off him right quick. Just from the points angle, you can get 3 wounds of GK Terminators in the form of a BC and 2 GKT for just about the same cost, and you'll also have the benefit of many more attacks and shots.Originally Posted by khorne
That said, this is just 1000 pts. I'd take no more than a single BC and walk him near or with one of your PAGK squads. Give him nothing, or perhaps sacred inscence and/or a psycannon.Excellent!Originally Posted by khorneYou've got more than enough troop-killing power in the rest of this list. I'd make this guy TLLC/ML instead for that long-range anti-armor shooting that you desperately need. At 1000 pts, I like trying to have two dreads in my list, but that would require some major points shifting in this list. And, truth to be told, one dread can be sufficient at this points level. Just my preference to always field at least two -- or none at all -- rather than a single one.Originally Posted by khorne
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.

My advice is pretty spot on with number6's.
A Grand Master doesn't belong in lists under 2000pts - *maybe* 1500pts, but that's cutting it close. He's a very very expensive model - but with no protection from instakills. And his Force weapon - in a game this size, you usually won't be dealing with any uber-characters on which to use it. You'd be a LOT better off with a lone Brother Captain with no upgrades at all.
This'll give you points towards another Dreadnought, which would be handy. If you lost maybe 1-2 GK from each Troop squad that'd be enough.
I'd make the FAGK (Fast Attack GK) squad maxed out - they're the ones most likely to get into melee because of their Deepstriking.
For the Dreadnought, you've got to specify what "PC" means - GK Dreadnoughts can take Psycannons or Plasma Cannons, both of which would abbreviate down to PC In this list, though, I wouldn't take either of them.
If you can only have one Dreadnought, I'd go with an Assault Cannon/CCW/Incinerator build - he'll be able to pop high AV and still back up your relatively few models in melee (Dreads count as 10 models for combat resolution!). If you can afford a second one, I'd use a TLLC/ML build for armor hunting. Smoke and Extra Armor on both.
I agree with most of the above as well.
I would upgrade the dread to a TLLC/ML variant because of its range and anti-armour capabilities. Liek number6 said, you already have enough anti-troop and the AC/CCW dread will killed fast if that is your only Armor in the game.
Drop the GM for a BC with a Psycannon and with any left over points max out your FAGK squad.
