Looking good, but why the Auspex? Just to fill in points?Originally Posted by DarkBishopAuspex, again, why do you have it? Also, do you have a specific strategy with the Cenobytes, or are they more there for fluff/modelling purposes? Other than that, looks relatively decent, though I would never field two Chaplains, myself.Originally Posted by DarkBishopGood.Originally Posted by DarkBishopYou might consider throwing a Melta Gun in there - this can be paid for by dropping two Initiates for two Neophytes, if need-be. This will give you a fair shooting phase after landing in the Drop Pod, if you need it.Originally Posted by DarkBishopVery, very big squad. What's the plan with them? Footslogging, especially with CC-based weapons, may not be the best idea, but it is a fun unit to use.. 25 models in a single squad (counting the HQ) is quite a lot.Originally Posted by DarkBishopExpensive setup you've got here.. your purpose could be filled with just another basic Troops choice, in my opinion. Sword Brethren are pretty neat, fluffwise and modelwise, but for the points (especially with all the upgrades you've got) they aren't the best. Maybe drop some upgrades and all that... it's almost overkill.Originally Posted by DarkBishopLooking nice.Originally Posted by DarkBishopKeep in mind that they also have Heavy Bolters.Originally Posted by DarkBishopLooks nice, but beware the Eldar and Dark Eldar players with their Bright and Dark Lances, respectively. They are the bane of Land Raiders, right there alongside Tau Railguns.Originally Posted by DarkBishopGood - a bit short ranged, but I like the Demolisher Cannon, and the upgrades are perfect.Originally Posted by DarkBishop
Keep in mind, since you haven't posted any points costs... in order for models in a unit to buy grenades, the entire unit must buy them. So two models can't have frags and/or krak grenades - all of them must have them. Just in case you thought otherwise.
Overall, a fairly decent list, but I'm questioning that big footslogging squad and how effective it may be..
Thanks, you brought to my attention some major stuff.
But quickly, I'm playing aginst DIY Marines and this guy always infiltrates, always!
For the Auspexes - do you think he'll be infiltrating within 12" of your guys, and in LOS? It's impossible, so the Auspexes are wasted in that regard, as you'll only have a 12" shooting range for that. :yes:Originally Posted by DarkBishop
The fact that he's infiltrating may help you a bit with your big footslogging squad, but he deploys after you, so he may do his best to avoid getting close to it.
