Thought this might work as an all around list, altho I think it could have issues with swarm armies. Trying for something a little bit different I guess, I just love terminators.
Master: Terminator Armor, Storm Bolter, Power Sword, Bionics – 125pts
3 x 8 Terminator: Assault Cannon x2 –1080pts
3 x 5 Tac Marines: Las Cannon, Plasma Gun, Tank Hunters –345pts
3 x 1 LST’s: Assault Cannon/Hvy Bolters - 240pts
1 x 7 Dev Marines: 4 ML, Tank Hunters – 206pts
47 Marines and 3 speeders is awfully light at 2000 points, but other then that, this is a nice list. Especially if there are not a lot of quick CC armies where you play. Things like DE, Speed Freaks and Nids would give you big problems, but I think you would rock Marines, and do well against any army that cannot engange you in hth before turn 3.
Just be carefull with you deployment and movement. Every models you lose hurts you bad.
If you build a man a fire he will be warm for a night. If you set a man on fire he will be warm the rest of his life.
honestly, if you're playing imperial fists and love termies, your best bet is the lysanderwing. (in case you dont know, thats 5 squads of termies (3 elites, 2 hq squads) led by lysander, then dropping them all in via his special rule. dropping in almost 30 terminators and 10 assault cannons!)
2000pts Orks 4-2-1
Ok, bionics isnt needed.Master: Terminator Armor, Storm Bolter, Power Sword, Bionics – 125ptsRemove two terminators from each squad - put the removed terminators into a command squad for the HQ. Give the command terminator squad 2 assault cannons.3 x 8 Terminator: Assault Cannon x2 –1080ptsI dont think you need tank hunters - you'll need a few points from somewhere to pick up an extra two assault cannons, this could be the spot.3 x 5 Tac Marines: Las Cannon, Plasma Gun, Tank Hunters –345ptsSolid3 x 1 LST’s: Assault Cannon/Hvy Bolters - 240ptsTake a guy from one of the tactical squads if you have to, make this squad 8 man. Very effective firepower if they dont get ganged up on to much.1 x 7 Dev Marines: 4 ML, Tank Hunters – 206pts
Overal decent list.
8-man termy squads – why?? Six-man squads work best, each with 2 assault cannons and a sarge with combi-flamer. This way you are maximising on the excellent assault cannon. Also, ever tried to hide an eight-man squad on 40mm bases? Nigh on impossible. It's just too clumsy. Not only that you are cutting down on target and assault selection as well as giving you less potential point scoring units as you could field 4 x 6 units here instead of your current 3 x 8.

I think the 4 x 6 man squads is a good suggestion. The reason I was fielding 8 man squads is sometimes they come under some pretty heavy fire and get charged. I find that having 7+ in a unit really really adds more than you'd think when it comes to a round of CC and coming out of it still functional. Plus it adds more cushion to the AC's, but then again another 2 AC's sounds even better. I really need to play more fights with each version but until then I'll follow the sage advice given.
Also, I'm keeping Bionics :p 5 pts for that much hope is a steal, and I don't have much else to spend em on lol. Thanks for the advice guys.
