Well I decided to create a 1500pt army so that when i'm ready from my noobness i can upgrade... the main thing i was pondering was whether or not I should somehow include a LR(C). I could maybe just go straight to 1750 then... but anyway:
HQ - 374
Troops - 275
Troops - 275
HS - 160
HS - 160
HS - 272
could drop the Purgation for LRC and something.
Alternatively I could simply make 2x troops of 4Gk and a justicar with Psycannons and then make FAGK units...
Final thought was make one troop of GK 9+Justicar vanilla, and make the other 4gk+Justicar with psycannons, drop purg and add LRC.

Bad idea. This is like including a LRC in a 1000pt list (which I already addressed in that particular thread of yours) - you're putting all of your hopes of victory on a single overpriced unit!HQ - 458
Myself, I wouldn't take an HQ this size outside of a 2500pt+ game. Hell, I refuse to take a GM under 2000pts.
Same comments toward the H/K as in the other thread.
Ok, changed GM to BC, removed HK missile, added 2x PAGK per troop
The GM wasn't the whole issue - 6 GKT in a game this small was.
My own rules of DH army building:
1) Never use a GM under 2000pts.
2) No GKT bodyguard/Elite GKT units until 1500pts, at which 3 GKT is plenty.
3) If you need a GK HQ in smaller games, take a lone BC with NO upgrades (he's a 1W model, don't bother) and stick him into a PAGK unit.
Think: if you lost the GKT entirely, you'd be able to get another maxed PAGK or FAGK squad into this list! That's 10 wounds, 21 melee attacks, and 20 stormbolter shots, as opposed to the 6 wounds, 12 melee attacks, and 12 stormbolter shots from 6 GKT. The improved armor save & power weapon attacks do NOT justify the increased cost, really, especially in small games.
