OK, it has been a while since I did a Grenadier list , but I just re-did some of my Tanks, and wanted to field a Mechanized all tank list that is also competative. let me know what you guys think of how well it would do in a take-all-comers tourney.

Looks good to me (despite my solid lack of experience with the guard). Got a nice balance of weapons, although it looks like other tank heavy armies could still give you some trouble.....

i would change the leman russ to a demolisher just to deny 2+ armor saves of termies, etc. i run termies and my friend learned a hard lesson, the normal battle cannon cannot hurt termies as 2+ armor saves own. force em to use the 5+ invulnerable instead. also, u might wanna give the JO another weapon as it will help in the case u get into Close Combat with an extra attack. Power weapon might be nice.

You know, whether it works or not, you deserve something for fielding a Chimera with two heavy flamers. That is just fun. Does it actually work?

It does once in a while. Enough to make it worth it for the pure enjoyment. One game I had a command squad with three flamers pop out of the Chimera move into position, then the Chimera itself moved into postion and Flame On! 2 of 10 Assault Marines were left.

Its only normally worth while on a Chimera that you need to move fast. For those 12" moving turns you can shoot anyway, so you aren't wasting anything. Once it's close enough, just roll to wound, no BS3 to worry about!

Suggestions in the order I thought of them, rather than of priority.
    1. Why not take "Close Order Drill" as a doctrine> It is free and could help in CC.
2.Vox and Master Vox would help in keeping your troops fighting
3."Sharpshooters" only is useful for Infantry with BS3. Unless my memory serves me wrong. Grenadiers are BS4 and so the only group that can use your doctrine is the HQ squad.
    4. I would suggest thinking about other doctrines to add something to your outfit.
    5. Your outfit is exceptionally mobile. I hope you enjoy smashing opponents who expect IG always to be a static shooting army.

I like this list. IMO grenidiers were born to mechanised. You may want to go with a demolisher instead, it's close support and will put off any units wanting to get to close to your troops.

    It's a solid list.

I like the list but bassies never sat well with me in a moile army. i swapped my one out for an exterminator and it makes my list not only more mobile but harder hitting. I find they kick out enough shots that they make up for their lack of template. the extra armour value helps them survive against decent opponents and well its tried and tested where we are! with two more russ moving around your opponent will be spoilt for choice as to which tanks to kill.
I personnally dont like the idea of sents in squadrons but as you have no choice i cant really complain.
overall i think its pretty darn good actually.

I'd ditch Sharpshooters and take a 4th meltagun. The more the merrier.
