Alright, i've been working with this list for a loong time now, (must be 3 months) tweaking things here and there and taking advice from any outlet i could get advice from.
Keep in mind...I find myself to be a very lucky dice roller when the times call for it....
Tactical Squad with 7 marines
Tactical Squad with 7 marines
Terminator Squad with 5 Terminators
2 Assault Cannons
Assault Squad with 10 marines, 2 Plasma pistols
Veteran sergant,Power Fist
Devastator squad with 7 marines, 4 Missiles
Devastator Squad with 7 marines, 2 Lascannons
I'm free to ANY sort of constructive criticism you have, I really don't plan on playing any tourneys with this setup outside of local hobby shops and i just want to have my fair share of wins..It doesn't have to decimate everyone but i don't want a 100% finesse army either..
As for the dread's..there has to be 2 in the force due to fluff i'm throwing together

It's a pretty good list - i see only a few obvious problems.
first big problem is that you seem to like odd-numbered squads. Even numbered squads tend to do better for avoiding being 50% (non-scoring). i'd try to Devastators and tacs up to 8 men.
You can also consider taking the trait Cleanse and Purify and equipping the tactical squads with an extra plasma gun each. That way you can double your firepower! Also worth considering is a V. Sgt with PF for one of the squads so they can look after themselves even in CC.
Scouts need more than 5 men to be effective. 4 sniper rifles just dont guarantee that all-important pinning test. i suggest 7 snipers + the ML.
What does your Master have? Im sure we can better evaluate the list with a more complete lsit of his equipment.
That's where I'm stuck is my HQ mainly....I originally was planning a Chaplain HQ...however, my army isn't very assault oriented it's more of a Assault if the situation calls for it deployment...........
As far as WG equipped with the HQ..once again it depends on the choice....
as for the scout squad, on second thought I'm dropping the scouts all together......
adding some plasma cannons somewhere....maybe inplace of the lascannons depending on the foe...maybe a seperate unit...not sure yet....but anyway...yeah As much as i've been told to make the even numbers(would get the benefit once 50% is reached of not having a minority of units)..once I get the thing down i can divvy up a few more guys here and there...and as for the dev squad, i don't plan on getting any more in that unit than the 7 I believe it was....if an enemy starts focusing fire on the 7 man dev squad that will just give me time to advance the tac squads with plasma weapons....if they focus on the tac squads....not much need for a 8 man Dev squad..
but yea...i've got 127some odd pts spare..for HQ, and feel free to sudgest droping a man or two here inplace of a man there....and that cleanse and purify is a good idea, I was looking at that trait along with the infiltration trait.........but the suffer not with tank hunters is a gaurentee(fluff based choice)

Definetly take Cleanse and Purify if your not gonna give your tac squads a heavy weapon. Also, if you want some plasma cannons, you need to do it in 5 man tac squads. Plasma cannons are just too damned expensive in a dev squad.
You NEED at least 1 bolter marine for every heavy weapon in a dev squad. That being said, you really don't need 5 marines protecting those 2 las cannons. And those 2 lascannons are better off in 5 man tac squads, where they are cheaper, and you can split thier fire. But at least drop the squad down to 6 men and move the other one to the other dev squad.
Also, you have a lot of points in your Elits section. Terminators are not the best unit at 1500 points. You would be better off dropping this squad, taking 2 LST's and using the extra points to bump your big tac squads up to 8 or 10 guys.
Also, Assault cannon with ML is not a great combination. One thing to consider would be dumping the 2 las dev squad, and bumping both of the Dreads to TLLC.
I think more then anything, the list could use a bit more focus. The list can do everything ok, but nothing really well.
i'll go over the list again once i get home and re-edit it tomorrow...maybe later tonight.....
thanks alot for the input
