Pretty good list, actually. I've got a few tweaks for you to consider, but none of them are essential changes:
The HQ is more expensive than I usually like at this points level. I'd personally downgrade to a BroCap instead of the GM, and maintain the same number of GKT bodyguards.
What is your intended use of the Inquisitor? I know he's only there because the Assassin requires it, but you shouldn't ever take models without a specific use for them in mind.
Shunt one of the PAGK squads into Fast Attack. FA choices set up last, giving you a bit of tactical flexability (as you can respond to your opponent's setup). And with FAGK, you have the choice at the beginning of the game to either deploy them normally OR to Deepstrike them.
In the IG Command Squad, if you're forgoing the heavy weapon altogether, take Plasma Guns instead of GL's. GL's look good on paper, but are less impressive than you'd think. Also, be aware that you can fit four special weapons in there, not just two. A 5-model squad with 4 Plasma Guns is a handy suicide unit
In the Platoon's other squads, maybe vary the heavy weapons a bit. Lascannons are neat, but with a Guardsman's BS you won't hit all that often. I like to take at least one weapon with a higher rate of fire (Autocannons are good) to try to balance the odds of hitting something.
In the Armored Fist, I'd take a Multi-laser turret and Hull Heavy Bolter. The higher Strength gun is more useful, even with the lower rate of fire. With four units of GK bringing 27 stormbolters to the table, you won't be too hard pressed for the anti-infantry fire, so the stronger weapons are what you need!
Definitely stick extra armor and smoke on the Russ!
The grand master is there mainly because I saw the st6 force weapon part and fell in love. I keep telling myself to cut him back to a brother captain, but just can't bring myself to do it. I try to justify it to my self by saying that I will be playing nids fairly regularly and they will have a fat selection of TMC's.
The inquisitor is there just for the assassin... that and I really like the model with the book, facing the side. I haven't thought through what he would do in to much detail, just letting him slide around the board, shooting at anything that takes his fancy. But I do agree that I’ll have to come up with a better plan for him.
GK squad shunted to FA
And as for the rest, I'll play around with points later tonight to figure out what I can do.
But again, thanks, its really appreciated
I'm basically gonna end up covering some of the same ground Meglo already has but here's some things to think about.
1. Its true that IG don't hit well, which is why I suggest you leave all the lascanons you have in your set up. (the fact that they don't hit well is the reason why you bring a lot of them...and without them you are lacking viable anti-armor which you will need in a 1750pt list).
2. Definetly kit that Chimera out. I just started using Armored Fist units in my army lists (both DH and WH). Chimera's make excellent Light Tanks and they can pour out quite the volume of fire. Give your Chimera a Multi-Laser (worse AP than Hvy Bolter but higher strength and same number of shots make it well worth it) Also get the hull mounted Heavy Bolter, the minimal points cost for this upgrade make it an absoulute steal. You will find that a maxed out Chimera can do more killing than the IG that are attached to it sometimes.
3. Consider some plasma somewhere in your IG squads or HQ. IG make excellent plasma troops as if they blow up you havent really lost that many points. 3 or 4 plasma guns in your army can more than make back their points for you. Also plasma gives +3 armies nightmares and they will go to extream lengths to destroy or avoid these weapons that cost you almost nothing.
The only honorable options left to we combatants is seppuku or semantics...which amount to the same thing really.
