    1500 pt Shooty Marines-Competative

    Hey all, this is my first post on these forums. Below is a list that I plan on using competatively and thought I'd post it before I took it into battle. I have most of the miniatures to make this army as it is and half are painted.

    [1500] Space Marines

    Advantages: Dutiful [Never Despair, Honor Your Wargear]
    Drawbacks: Aspire to Glory

    The theme of the army is an Ultramarine company which was almost wiped out during the tyrannic wars and replaced with fresh recruits and wargear. The few previous war survivors are now venerated as saviors.

    See if you can give your Speeder an Assault Cannon, as it's a very effective weapon. Trust me

    I'd have one Heavy Bolter in the Attack Bike Squad instead of two Multi-Meltas.

    Said in an eariler list, i'm a little squrimish about mixed roles in Tac Squads. Consider taking out one of the assault weapons or heavy.

    Try out the Command Squad and see how it plays out in battle. The only thing i'd say about them is take out the Flamer and have a Plasma Gun instead.

    Auspex is rarely used. So i'd take that out.

    Other than that, seems ok.

    swap the lascannons in your Dev squads with the ML's from the Tac squads. Lascannons in dev squads are almost double the price as the ones you put in Tac squads. I would try to make the dev squads 8 men each with 4ml 4 bolters in each.
