My HQ is a Basic Comand Squad
Infantry Platoon with basic comand squad and 3 troop squads
Another Infantry Platoon with basic comand squad and 3 troop squads
My buddy always plays zerg on warhammer 40,000k. I decided to get as many lazguns as possible, since it seemd to work in starship troopers it will defenetely work here. I chose droptroops docrine so I can drop right in the middle of the zerg and open fire. Let me know what you think of this kickass army (I just noticed close order drill is free, so I got that too! I'm so smart!
um zerg, i assume tyranids haha
if you wanna play droptroops against quick moving alians, do so at your peril.... either u go horribly well, or horribly bad..... i prefer to set meself up into firing lines, especially with Close Order, and its free! haha
deepstriking a little somethin never hurt, like some flamers to smite those hormagaunts and other quick moving gaunts before they smash into your lines unhurt. and hellhounds, yes, ill have some of that, because they 'always' hit, or better put, always capable of damage, definately against the crap armour saves of tyranids and the like.
have you play a bit? do you have any other models?

Hellhounds hurt like stink! Plenty of heavy bolters, autocannons, missile launchers for your men.
As for flamers, i'd say to keep them on vehicles, becuase on troops, they'll probably be engaged in CC before they can use them.
FOR THE OVERMIND!

If you do this, take plasma and Heavy bolters with the minimum of troops choices per platoon. Then Max out with Storm Troopers and Command squads which are the good deep striking tool IG have.
A Bassie or two lobbing big blasts from behind cover with Improved Comms can really help as well.
Want to have more fun? Ally some Grey Knigt Terminators and a squad of Fast Attack Grey Knights. Now you have some staying power!

how 'bout some heavy flamer sentinels? deep-strikeing too. They could also have hardened fighters if you want.
Check out my Codex: Farmyard Animals here!
If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
But I wouldn't buy into that rumour, when Starcraft was unveiled for the first time it was most definitely Warcraft in Space with Orcs (which SC didn't have, boo for the greenies). It was reinvisioned later after much booing of the press and fans.
Now, Mr. Analdouche, the Drop Troop list of yours could work out if you bring some special weaponry here and there. Flamers and Grenade Launchers are pretty solid, especially if you don't care about mixing it up at short range.
