Here is a new sm chapter i made i dont know what to name it but the power armour is orange, gold trim ( i might change ) and purple-white ( it fades ) details ( eyes/ power weapons/lightning claws ) Well without further ado here is the list :
- Pair of lightning claws, t. honours, iron halo, frags, infiltrate
Command squad x10
-t honours, pf, ccw+bp x9, infiltrate, frags
Troop 1 6 man tac squad
FA1 Land speeder
-EA, PoTMS, smoke launchers
Total : 1002
ok i'll help you out,
your Hq and command squad makes a very good CC squad designed to get in there quick and rip through as many things as posible.
the troops are a bit small but they have good anti tank ability.
Three tornados there really is no such thing as overkill
the vinicator should be useful and with the PotMS and smokes and extra armour should make it survive long enough to cause some carnage.
Overall a good list you might not have enough anti-tank but if you frequent armies with few tanks or play on smaller than normal tables so the vindi can have its way, then this army should be very good.
Total 40k: >5000pts
total WFB: ~2000pts
I also enjoy good music, fine food, late night strolls on the beach and dancing in moonkin form :)
Thank you, so drooping a speeder for more anti tank capabilities sounds good, no?
First, you don't need any more anti-tank. Your only playing 1000 points, and you can always take our tanks with the rending Assault Cannon.
Second, I see your poor command squad being out there all alone, with no support, and being quickly chewed up. You don't want one squad out in front of your army with no units to back them up.
Third, you can save some points by droping Extra Armor from the Vindicator. PotMS makes it obsolete since its function is basically included.
This would be an interesting list to play against with my CSM 1000 point list. Your command squad looks mean, and your 3 landspeeders wouldn't be fun to play against, but the only thing is that you seem a bit slow on mobility other than the speeders. I would drop a speeder and some other things that you don't really need, and buy some cars for your tac squads, and then use remaining points to beef up those tac squads. I am in love with rhinos.... They are cheap and can act as effective mobile cover. Many times I have blocked the routes of enemies by driving my cars in front of them once I stick my squads in good spots to camp. The 35 points are worth it for the mobility of the squads and the mobile terrain.
You really think he cares nearly three years later with a new codex out? >.<
Look at the date before posting >.<
