well, that is my 1500 point list. typical stuff, comments and such appreciated.
just note that i am making this list with the models i have on hand.
If these are the models that you have and the points level that you want to play, then I like this list.
It's worth a krak!
(This has been said before but) in 1500 point games the grand master is too expensive. Drop him, and for 8 more points get a brother captain and 2 more GK terminators. They have the same number of wounds, can't be instant killed, have better shooting and more attacks (especially on the charge).
With all the deep striking you are planning (with those teleport homers) improved comms would be helpful. Why not drop the inquisitor for an inducted Armoured fist squad with improved comms on their chimera. This would save some points for a few more ISTs to bulk out the squads and an extra las cannon would help out against tanks.
Not sure why you have a TP homer here. A sage is a better buy. In fact, while it can be nice to have a chimera for mobile terrain and trouble-causing, it shouldn't be used to actually transport your shooty inquisitor around. Since you're a little tight on points in this list, I would dump the chimera in favor of filling out this retinue (2 sages and a mystic, please!) and adding models and potency elsewhere in the list. Your other transports and dreads will be enough armour at 1500 pts.Originally Posted by arishnakogerI think you should bump this squad up to 8 or more models. It's primarily a fire support squad, not a close-assault squad nor a suicide squad. Also means that the vet sgt and TP homer are wasted points here. These guys shouldn't be driving anywhere close to the enemy. And if you're getting assaulted, you may as well just let 'em go. I'm sure your GKs would be better used elsewhere.Originally Posted by arishnakogerBecause this squad must rush up close the enemy, it makes sense to keep them lean (if you're tight on points) and to spring for the TP homer. However, more bodies is always good if you can afford them. Otherwise, this is a great squad.Originally Posted by arishnakogerExcellent. Another one would be nice, too, but you're not too bad off as you are, either.Originally Posted by arishnakogerExcellent! If you had to, you could trim these down to 8 models to make improvements elsewhere.Originally Posted by arishnakoger
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.
