Okay, there's a team tourney at the end of February and my partner recently bailed so they told me to show up and I'd have a partner so it shall be quite a surprise
Emporers Champion 140
Accept Any Challenge, No Matter the Odds
Crusader Sqaud (9 Initiates) 254 (Two of These)
Rhino XArm Smoke
Crusader Sqaud (10 Initiates, 1 Neophyte) 217
10x Crusader Seals
Like I said, I have no clue who my partner is so I hope it works out for the best. What do you boys (and girls) think?
While I love the list if you get paired with the tau or eldar or IG, but if you get paired with Blood angels or Khorne, you might be in for a bit of trouble.
To make a more flexible list, I would remove one of the 9-man squads and both coffins... er...rhinos... and go for 2 las/plas squads, or a tornado or two or some dedicated shooting unit. This will still give you some shooting, while at the same time, giving you two squads that can hit home.
With the dropping of the rhinos, you could add 5 initiates, which actually let you move as fast as with the rhino (depending on casualties, of course), and maybe add 3 cenobyte servitors to the chaplain for extra distance (up to 9" during the enemies shooting phase). For the chaplain, I would drop the PF and go with a power weapon, bp, th and HOA, which is both cheaper and more effective than your layout, IMHO.
Just my two cents. Good luck.
