    Grey Knights 1500

    I am thinking of buying a third dread from forgewold to tweak my current list into a pure Grey Knight force.

    HQ:
    Brother Captain

    Retinue:
    4 GK Terminators with 1 psi cannon, 1 TH/SS 270.

    Troops:
    10 Grey Knights, 1 meltabomb 280.
    10 Grey Knights, 1 meltabomb 280.

    Fast:
    10 Grey Knights, 1 meltabomb 280.

    Heavy:
    Dread, TL LC, ML 140.
    Dread, TL LC, ML 140.
    Dread, AC, CCW 110.

    total 1500

    You have a nice list there. I would drop the melta bombs for extra armour for the dreads. Other than that a solid pure GK list.
    Why use science and education when ignorance and superstition will work just as well.

    Looks like a good solid list to me. The only modification I might suggest is extra armour and smoke on your heavies. Extra armour and, to a lesser degree smoke launchers, are almost a necessity on Dreads, especially the AC/CCW variety! They don't have the protection that the longer range TLLC/ML arms provide. The problem is finding the points for them, of course =D. You could drop the psycannon from the GKT retinue, or the meltabombs from the justicars, or drop one GK from one of your squads (prolly fast attack, just to keep the symmetry, heheh). Of the three, I'd say that if you're deep striking your terminators, then drop the psycannon (even though they rock!), since you won't be getting many rounds of shooting with it, in all likelyhood. If you're footslogging them, then I reckon the psycannon will do more over the course of a game than the extra GK. Your call of course =).

    Just a side-note, but I've got one of those Forgeworld Dreads with the DCCW + Plasma Cannon, and it looks sick!
