    1750 light infantry tournament

    before you ask y i have light infantry, it is because there is a house rule at my gaming club that says you can only deploy on the bottom floors of buildings unless there are stairs. There are a lot of buildings at the gaming club. almsot liek a cityfight on 3 out of 4 tables. The cameleoline gives me a 3+ cover save, while the light infantry increases my mobility and allows me to deploy on the top floors giving me a vantage point. No more critisms on my hq! i have had enough of that!

    A few things,

    HQ:
    seems good at counter attack and you dont want to change it so thats cool.

    Elites.
    Good anti transport light tank etc. nice squad.

    Troops
    1) get rid of those frags on the JO they are useless
    2) You have no variety in your squads. Change a couple to heavy bolters. Autocannons are too specialised and wont do a good job against infantry especially hordes.
    3) The grenadiers squad needs transport wihtout this it isnt useful. If it is a filler squad drop its size right down and only give it one weapon. If not drop and infnatry squad to get a chimera.

    heavy support.
    1) I'd drop all of the searchlights. they aren ta great choice (unless your club uses exessive night fighitng rules, personally in the hundreds of games ive played ive never used them once!)

    The price of your tanks is wrong, they are only 156 points with the current setup.

    Total changes point saving (after chimera with smoke multilas and heavy bolter oh and extra armour is bought) 41 points. You would have one less squad but the stormies would be useful.

    The other option would be to cut the stormies back a little make a coupel fo other changes and then buy a second platoon command. Stormies could then go in elites and you could give them deepstrike or infiltrate. YOu would also have another missile and also a second command squad. Woudl be easier on your setup too. The 4 squads could be divided into two platoons with a hevay bolter squad and an autocannon squad in each. This would make the paltoons a good self supporting anti everything element.
