Anyway, I would spread the plasma you have out a little more to take advantage of the various medics you have, because only one is not going to stop that squad from frying itself in humerous fashion if you EVER rapid-fire with them.

Don't forget though that each gunner can only suffer wounds from his own gun - thats why you should always roll for each plasma gun seperately! Its possible for the same gunner to roll two 1's and have a 'gets hot' result when his buddy rolls two 4's and is safe. Without the seperate rolling they could both die with that result. Although you're probably already aware of this, I guess...

There's also the school of thought that says that only one 'gets hot' result can be applied per weapon regardless of the amount of shots, and that multiple shots only increases the chance that this one result is applied. The rules explanation on page 49 of the main 40k rulebook states that 'firing two shots means the weapon gets hot on rolls of 1 or 2', and it doesn't say 'means the firer takes two armour saves'. 'Cos it only 'gets hot', not 'gets hot twice'. Food for thought...

EDIT: I'll post a review of the army list when I get the time

Also, you should google "garfield minus garfield". Awesome.

Okay. Thanks. And I like that, I hadn't noticed that actually. I thought that if you rolled two ones then you had to take two armor saves. But that makes a lot more sense. It's alsoa heck of a lot more convenient. Huzzah for favorable rules! :party2:

Didnt know that (possibly because of my almost complete lack of plasma guns).

I guess I am overly paranoid about guardsmen suiciding before they have a chance to actually kill anything. (if you had seen my rolling you would understand why ). They die often enough as is.

Of course with Carapace it is a lot less of a problem anyway I guess.
