    Really cool list. The only change I would make would be to drop one of the hydra squads for a squad of russ's.

    looks good, I like the Hydras, I'd personally change up the griffons. I don't think a barrage weapon works well in squadrons because of the flipped template rule, on a small squad (10 or under) your unlikely to get more than 1-2 for any of the other hits.

    Dropping the griffons, 1 hydra and 3 heavy stubbers gives you 2 demolishers. Next to that inquisitor I don't think anything could ever survive that unless you get extremely unlucky with your scatter.
    Most Notable Achievements:
    Killed a Revenant Titan in one shot.
    Killed 900 pts worth of Blood Angels in 2 turns while only loosing 4 pts.

    Pretty cool list and a nice change of pace in the list from standard mech with the Hydras and Griffons.

    Though I would drop all of the heavy stubbers and bolters, these are just filler points and can be better spent elswhere. Would also down grade the heavy flamers in the vet squads to standard flamers.

    With the points you save how about this, replace the Inquisitor with:

    Inquisitor Lord - x2 Mystics, (some other cheap retinue to get the 3 minimum), Psychic Hood (For a high leadership psychic defense), Rhino w/ EA + Smoke

    Just an idea. Could also give demolitions or something to some vets.

    I like your idea. I dropped all 6 heavy stubbers, all of the bolters, and downgraded the heavy flamers to regular flamers, freeing up 98 points. Although I am not upgrading to the Lord, I am giving him 2 Heirophants in addition to the 2 Mystics to upgrade his leadership to 10, achieving the same effect I would get with the Lord for cheaper, in addition to another cool anti-demon effect. They also now get to ride around in a Rhino.

    I need to know something though. Is the psychic hood 10 pts or 15? or something else? I am missing that page of the codex.

    Too expensive. He's meant to die as well. Keep him cheap and in cover instead. Hierophants are a waste. How many players do you play against that uses daemons? And what do you need a psychic hood for? You're mechanized! Basically here you have a 145pt anti-DS unit with no offensive capabilities. Just the Inq+tarot+2 mystics for 47pts is all you need. No enemy is going to shoot him. They have much bigger threats to worry about...namely tanks, vendettas and a chimera/melta rush.

    All good, though personally, I think heavy flamers are worth it. It'll kill marine scouts, most nid infantry even with extended carapace, and eldar infantry. That said, if you don't get them for your vets, then get HF's for your chimera's hull weapon.

    I'd prefer an executioner, demolisher or medusa somewhere in there (preferably 2). Your Inq can fire them on deepstrikers, and you'll have some type of weapon to combat terminators.

    More changes made. I feel like I am really fine-tuning this list. Thanks to all repliers for great ideas. I replaced one of the Hydra squadrons with a pair of nasty demolishers built for very high strength AP2 and AP1 spamming. This also adds a big chunk of armor to absorb fire for the 15 other much lighter vehicles. They will most likely be the ones designated by the Inq+Mystics to blow away drop podders. The Psker Battle Squad will use their -8 LD spell on targets deemed the most dangerous (where applicable). This target will then get hammered by the Griffons for an almost guaranteed pinning, if not a fallback from casualties. I can then ignore this target and focus the rest of my army on destroying other targets. Then, he has to waste his next turn with that unit trying to get them back up. I can repeat this process until the Psyker Battle Squad is destroyed.

    List updated again with more changes. I have been tweaking this list for over a month and a half. I decided to drop some of the special-rule/ability units in the army (psyker battle squad w/ chimera, inq. & mystics) . They did not feel worth their points. I used the chunk of points for more armor and raw firepower. I think the whole army is based on points-efficient units, except for one. I splurged big on the demolishers, but I feel like I need at least one big super strong expensive unit, and I think a squadron of demolishers with other nasty guns is the best choice. At the very least, they can absorb a lot of anti-tank firepower away from all the AV12 vehicles. I mean, it is 2500. I can splurge once right?!?

    I'm pretty sure I am done now, almost 2 months later. This is the best list I can come up with. If someone can think of anywhere else I can improve it, please give suggestions.

    After extensive playtesting, I have come to the conclusion that the list is extremely powerful. I still found 2 things that I didn't like, though. The power fists on the flamer vets were not worth their points, and the plasma guns on the CCS's overheat too much. Dropping the power fists, and switching from plasma guns to more melta guns frees up 85 points. With this, I am going to upgrade the multi melta sponsons to plasma cannons to make up for my lost plasma from the CCS's, and add in "The Ghost of Cadia".
