ok im going into a competition 2mo and i got this list, critises it as much as possible! i want to win! bellow is a list of every single IG modle i have so if you think i should change something, plz use the models below as i wont have time to buy, build and paint anything in time for 2mo!!!

Seems mostly fine, only most of your anti tank is invested in those fragile veterans with melta guns. Swap a russ for a chimera. And consider adding grenade launchers for more punch to your infantry platoons should you find the points to shave off. (lascannons on the russes don't work well)

Your PCS and CCS are illegal. Each Vet can only get 1 piece of kit. I'd just drop the voxes, with the Vets mechanized there isn't much point to them.

Give your CCS meltas and both Vet squads meltas. Drop the Russ's other weapons (lascannon at BS3 sucks, HB sponsons suck) and upgrade to a Demolisher.

This is what I would do.

- Drop the Voxes (+20pts)
- Drop Lascannons and Sponsons on Leman Russes (+70pts)

This gives you 90 points.

+ Upgrade one Leman Russ to a Demolisher (-15pts)
+ Swap the Autocannon in the PCS for a couple of flamers (-5pts)
+ Get another Autocannon Infantry Squad (-60pts)
+ Get a couple of Grenade Launchers in the Infantry Squads (-10pts)

i just notiched that dropping the sponsons for a guards men squad doesnt look like that great a deal!!!

you get 12 heavy bolter shots and 2 lascannons from the sponsons and only 9 lasgun shots and 2 auto cannon shots from the squad!

how about chimera command squads with melta guns for mc and then ditch the vetereans for more infafantry platoons with autocannons and maybe grab a vendetta ( more anti-mc ) and bring in a swt with flamers to toast any stealers or squads in cover ^^.

I think you should definately drop the sponsors. why? because bs3 won't hit much. epsecially when your most liekly shooting scary big things liek carnifexs etc with those battle cannons and the lascannon won't hit much for BS3 either. you have a 50/50 chance where 15 points could be used elsewhere.

also try marbo, he's amazing if you know how to use him and he gets WS5 and wounds on 2s against anything organic and without vehicle armour for 65 points!

The squads can fire at separate targets, while the sponsons and hull mounts can only hit on one.

Plasma works better for mc.

yas it does, but i that he can keep the plasma for the CCS and give the PCS something decent to punch a tank etc. should the CCS fail to do it's job.
