Here is a list i compiled just for fun.
Lots of bodies, lots of vehicles, tons of meltas. Maybe it can even be competitive!
1.CCS
-4 melta
-chimera (a)
2.PCS

3.IS
-AC
4.IS
-AC
-chimera (b)
5.SWS
-3 melta
6.SWS
-3 melta
7.PCS
-4 melta
8.IS

9.IS
-AC
10.SWS

11.SWS

12.PCS
-4 melta

13.IS

14.IS

15.SWS
-3 melta
16.SWS
-2 melta
17.LRDemolisher
-lasc
18.LRDemolisher
-lasc
19.LRexecutioner (the plasma one)
20.LRexecutioner
the units will embark in chimeras as the following:
chimera a: 1 with 2
chimera b: 5 and 6
chimera c: 7 and 12
chimera d: 15 and 16
there is some optimization to be done (like, you can save 1 melta from chimera b , up to 3 from chim a and c. like, 70 points) but you have a lot of meltas rolling ahead in those chimmies, which can target 2 different enemy units because you have 2 different units shooting from inside, if needed.
Yeah you have bs3 compared to the veterans bs4, but you have much more meltas rolling forward.
4 leman russes can soak up a decent lot of damage to lower pressure from the transports.
the 3 20 men blobs can
-sit on home objective shooting at enemy transports coming in with autocannons, or
-drop the lasguns and autocannons, grab 10 laspistols (2 cc attacks instead of one) and stay on bubblewrap duty
-get assault weapons (GL or flamers) and roll on footslogging
I made this list up in a couple of minutes, but i think that the "quantity over quantity" can be competitive in our Guard... in your face, veterans!
@IronWeevil : please notice that there are no voxes in this list. Kisses![]()
