Heya, this is my idea for a combat patrol, please tell me if its viable, and legal?
The idea is the commisar goes with the conscripts and I meat march my way to victory, picking of any tanks with the lascannons

Imperial Guard 400pts

HQ
1 Commisar

Troops
Junior Officer - Ccw Guards 4 Ccw's
Infantry Squad - Lascannon
Infantry Squad - Lascannon

30 Conscripts - 3 Flamers

Total 397

Doctrines
Inpedendant Commisars
Close Order Drill

I beleive that the commisar is legal (as you have independant commisars), and the list looks good (not to mention fun), but lascannons can be overkill in 400pts, remember the max armour (adding all three sides) is 33, meaning the highest armour value you see is 11 or 12.... Might i suggest autocannons or ML, both would allow your infantry squads more versatility as they can now kill infantry effectively aswell as tanks. This will also free some points for maybe special weopans, or a power weopan...........

Whoops my bad shot Soc, umm looks like my commie is short points wise (checked the indie commie thing) so i'll have to play auot's so i can squeeze him in
