I have a hellhound , however i figured it would be best to go more infantry. This is my first list so its most likely got alot of holes in it. I planned on using the fist squads to take objectives if needed. Im looking to create a fun all around list. Not sure if it will ever see a tourny. Thanks for all your help

Well, first of all, this might just be the best first-time guard list I have ever seen. Nicely done. I still have some reccomendations, however. Firstly, I would drop the commander's plasma pistol and instead give each platoon commander a power weapon. You would be surprised what they can kill in the assault. Also, take the close order drill doctrine so you strike at the same time as marines. I would also suggest giving your russ three heavy bolters instead of the lascannon. That gives it serious firepower even when it looses its cannon, and you need no extra anti-tank. And finally, I would drop some things (your choice) in order to upgrade one of your command squads to have a heroic senoir officer (or better yet, a Junior officer with Honoriffica) and a banner. That gives your nearby units re-rollable leadership 9 instead of normal leadership 8. Combine that with the Iron Discipline doctrine, and you make your leadership more than twice as good for just a couple of points. And finally, I would do something else with the autocannon squad. I use an odd autocannon or two in command and infantry squads in order to kill rhinos or skimmers early on in games. Three autocannons together is usually overkill. I would use lascannons or heavy bolters instead. Well, nice list, and good luck.
