OK really quick question.

Can ANY troop have the "Drop Troop" ability?
If ANY troops CAN have this ability, then can you drop troop a lascannon team or a guy with a melta-gun?

If only spacific troops can be Drop Troops then who can?

Try reading over the codex entry a few more times to clarify things for you, but in general you can drop everything except tanks and elites (through some elites may have their own special abilities that are similar to dropping) I can think of one fast attack choice that is also allowed to drop.

All in all, it should be easy to make an army list where everything can drop if you so wish.

And i am assuming Drop Troops use the same rules as deep striking?

In that case i got an idea when he DOES drop his troops
