I am about to undertake a varied and dangerous quest. It will be long and hard, taking me at least three years to complete and even then there is no promise of it being the end of it. My opponent has been known to raise its challenging head time and time again. Like a Hydra. Who is my opponent?
Knowledge. Learning. Education.
Yes. I'm off to university!
As of Saturday (22nd) I will be in the city of Sheffield (UK) and preparing to study the line of academia called.... "Archaeology". Thus, this week I am going to be a little hectic with the packing and checking... double and triple checking that I have my life in as few a bags as is possible. Well, I say packing but I've done most last week, so it'll be hunting down all the little things I might have forgotten in the process etc.
Thus, we come to the reason of my post. For this week, I will possibly be about; if not all that much - but about enough. After that, from Saturday... well, I will need to sort out my net connection and of course there is the balancing of the - social life, work and uni work to manage. I will do what I can to be about enough to hold my 'job' up, but I'm sure as you'll understand I may not be about all that much. People will have to pick up the slack I leave.
So, I have no idea how bad my appearances will be during this time, I'll try to make myself be known when I am able. =) So, should anyone desire to say hello (please, don't be shy!) then Pm's, emails and such will be answered whenever I get the chance - email addresses are in my sig.
(Incidentally, my birthday is the day before I move. *nudge.. nudge* -__^ )

I wish you best of luck to where you are moving to and have the funnest of your life. Fun and knowledge can go together... 8Y
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
Moonie (haha) - Of course I will, as soon as I settle in mate. Feel free to visit, my bearded tour guide. -__^
Tsele - Depends really. The first year I will be given an overview of various cultures, but the Greek and Roman tend to come under the strain of 'Classics' here, so I won't be touching them that much. Instead I am hoping to look towards my own fair isle - the forces that came here, Anglo-Saxon and Nordic among them really. Perhaps the Celts too.
Well, first I wish you all the luck with this moving buissness. It can be quite frustrating to have to move all your stuff at once. Especially the minis My sweet girlfriend still teases me on my behavious the last time we moved, especially when it came to those "special boxes". (No! You can't put that one in the trunk, you got to keep it inside the car I tell you, and stop rocking it back and forth like that...Heeyyy! Be careful, can't hold it upside down!!! Gwaaahhh!! What? The tellie? I don't know, just put it outside during the night, what could happend...but where are my boxes??!!?)
I wish you a great time in the City of Steel too, they have quite an impressive map-collection over the city, or so I've been told.
And when(if) you feel like looking at some real runes, you know you are welcome here too
Have a great time at university! I know I did!
A wise man told me this before I went away to study: Don't let your studies get in the way of your education.
But passing exams once in a while is also a good thing
My minis are all safely packed, though no girlfriend to help - parents and neighbour though. =D Thanks though. =D I just hope I can squeeze in some painting time!
Ikterus - hehe, thanks. I'll keep that in mind. -___^
Four days!! (Three until my birthday, you know? *nudge..... nudge* )
Have a good one, Kuffy! Don't forget to write back to us every once in awhile and for heaven's sake man, come back to the chat! You only have to stay for like an hour. It's good for study breaks.
